Ahoi pirates!
i’m happy to announce litebg.se.
It’s a torrent site, with all the RARBG files (no censorship), posters for movies, imdb-integration etc.
Take a look and bookmark it if you like it.

Unless people can produce quality rips similar to 1080p.x264-RARBG, 1080p.x265-RARBG, ION265 for TV packs and ION10 for movies. No one will care about such copycats.

If anyone is serious about starting a quality website alternative to RARBG with good code and encodes, you just need provide a secure server/domain. You’ll have hundreds of skilled people signing up to do the actual work in code/encodes/maintainance/moderation.

for now, it’s just a backup of the old rarbg content. The backend is not ready for new uploads and moderation yet. However, I might start working on it soon.

I’ve seen a bunch of would-be RARBG clones crop up (a few days ago there was one calling itself Not Quite RARBG which promptly went down); how do we know this is safe?

The server is hosted by a provider with strong privacy in Sweden (you can ask me via dm for the name). For downloading torrents, or browsing in general, use a non-logging vpn, such as Mullvad.
