Google has reportedly been working for years to separate the Chrome browser from Chrome OS, that’s how entangled they are, and it looks like this project is ready to bear fruit.

So, same shit but different name, eh? Long as Google feels they need to take full control of your hardware.
So basically, Google realized they fucked up by tightly integrating their browser with their OS, and now they’re doing what they should’ve done in the first place by uncoupling them.
It’d be badass if someone used this opportunity to make a ChromeOS fork based around Firefox.
Fuck Google, fuck Chrome, and fuck ChromeOS. I wish Mozilla kept working on their FirefoxOS.
