I’ll freely admit my reasons for hating him back then were petty and childish. But in my defense, I was a child 🤣

I’ve hated Donald Trump since he ruined our Christmas Eve in 1989.

When I was young, we had a family tradition of buying a new board game every year for Christmas. It was the one gift we would open as a family on Christmas Eve, so we’d have something new and fun to do together for the evening. In 1989, Milton Bradley released Trump: The Game. My older brother, who has always been interested in ways to get rich, was a fan of Donald Trump at the time (he got better), and insisted that we get the game that year. It was awful. We played it once and I don’t think we ever opened the box again. It was somehow simultaneously too confusing and too simplistic to be fun.

I just assume the high salary is because the AI will eventually become intelligent enough to target the killswitch operator for elimination first.

I had a 2nd Gen moto x. It had proximity sensors around the screen that allowed you to make gestures over the phone to do things like check notifications, pause music, dismiss calls, etc. They also offered a lot more customization options than any other phone I know of. Mine had a leather back, which was available in a few colors. They also had several options for wood backs. It was a really nice phone and I was sad when it died.

Same. I’ll be keeping an eye on it. I really like having access to YouTube without ads, but I detest YouTube Music and opted to pay for a Spotify subscription a few months after they killed Play Music. I’m not going to pay that much for just the lack of ads. I may find another way.

Huh. I wonder if they will increase the grandfathered price I’ve been paying as a Play Music early adopter. Hope not, because at $7.99 it still feels like a pretty good deal.

I use Google assistant in my car all the time. It came with android auto built into the head unit. So I can tell it to navigate to a location, play a specific song on Spotify, call my wife, read and respond to text messages… All using voice commands. I don’t have enough smart home devices to make it worth having an assistant constantly listening at home, though.

Didn’t know about winget. But I’ve been using Chocolatey for years.
