I haven’t seen the video but I read the interview (equally gross), and it’s kinda like that. I don’t remember it hitting the floor but he admitted that it got a little crooked when it was going in, which was one of the main contributing factors.
Apparently he had done it before (and continues to do so) with no issue because he filled them with water first, so the density counteracted the tension.
Also he was like 50ish when it happened.
Time to defederate an entire instance! Oh wait it’s ml, Kaplan won’t defederate them for some reason.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How would you survive a zombie apocalypse?
5·4 days agoMy biggest concern would be the zombies contaminating the water with whatever virus/poison/venom that makes zombies. Even if they’re visible, the moment they touch water, I’d already be scared to drink.

World News@lemmy.world•2 studies warn 'Day After Tomorrow' ocean current is in troubleEnglish
271·4 days agoOh yeah I’ve seen it myself. I’d like to move up north to get ahead of it, but there’s national lines to get across and taking my pets would be difficult at best.
I’ve also been noticing that since I was a kid (90s/00s), back then there was a white winter every singe year in my area. Now we’re lucky if we get any snow at all during winter.
Then I’ll hear some rube say that ‘global warming isn’t real,’ like what bitch?! Have you not been paying attention?!

World News@lemmy.world•2 studies warn 'Day After Tomorrow' ocean current is in troubleEnglish
612·4 days agoI remember The Day After Tomorrow, it was an okay film but it solidified in me the fear of climate change. The movie may not be scientifically accurate, mainly because they got the temperatures backwards. In the movie, the world froze starting at the poles. IRL, it’s going to boil and burn starting from the equator.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is wearing a High School uniform in public at 26 considered strange?
141·5 days agoThis is the right answer. Will you get looks? Probably. Will you be slightly embarrassed? At first certainly. Do the opinions of random passerbys matter to you? That’s the only question you should be concerned with. If it makes you feel good/pretty, that’s all that matters.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How do I drink more water?
31·6 days agoMaybe try ice water? I’m not much of a water person myself, but I love some cold ice water. Aside from that, my top 2 are tea/juice and Gatorade or similar.
Tea/juice is basically water with flavor. Gatorade/Powerade/similar are a great option cause it’ll hydrate you and the electrolytes are good for your gut bacteria.
Another idea is to just water down the things you already drink. For sodas I think it actually makes them taste better.

I’ve always been dyslexic with lefts and rights, or perhaps their names? Even now I have to catch myself most of the time when I say the wrong one.
I’m a little bad with numbers, that got worse after a head injury, so now I frequently confuse 6s and 8s in addition to the usual ‘was it 2493 or 2349?’ kinda things. As long as I double check my numbers I can do math right, but if it’s just a number sequence, they get a little mixed up.
Mines very mild though, and I’ve met/seen people that take a solid minute or two to parse it when they’re corrected.
That could go either way. I’ve heard (from family or friends) of people that have it so severely, they can’t trust themselves enough to accurately read.
That said, it could also be an easy excuse to avoid trying, but ultimately without consulting or being diagnosed by an expert, you only have their word to go on as to the severity.
