Why should they need to? You’re plenty capable #1 and #2 you were informed of the facts somehow. I’m sure you didn’t come to that conclusion by parsing raw data from consumer reports or the FTC.

Thanks for the reply. This is the first time someone has explained stock options so simply to me.

Can someone explain to me why it would be a bad idea to short the fuck out of this stock? I’d like to make money and be a principled human at the same time, but I’m not well versed in the stock market.

Tailscale has native clients for all the major TV OS’. And I’m not whitelisting public networks for my friends’ convenience. If they’re traveling, they use tailscale with their mobile device or not at all. If you’re talking about IP spoofing that’s not a realistic vulnerability concern for a home media server.
At least I know the potential attack vectors for my Jellyfin server and can mitigate potential security concerns.

Tailscale and IP whitelisting are both viable options

No, but that’s easy to setup with Tailscale or a myriad of other solutions for free.

How is Plex significantly better than Jellyfin at those things? I can just create a user in 2 seconds on the admin dashboard for Jellyfin, set a temporary password and my friend can log in and change it to whatever they want.
I can even limit the streaming bitrate to the account if I need to avoid bandwidth issues.

Reddit is selling their user database?

Well, I guess it depends entirely on what you could do about it. If the crepitus was brought about by chronic malmechanics then yes. If it was hereditarily driven then there’s nothing you could do about it. Typically, I preach to my patients that popping, clicking, snapping, etc. are only notable if they induce pain or if they were brought about by a change in activity.
A secondary note on pain is that it’s part of the human condition. Pain is relative and inevitable. If you live your life in a bubble then a sprained ankle is going to feel like a gunshot wound. There will always be some form pain or soreness. The trick is to address it as it comes about and shift it to the next weakest link in the chain. If you have low back pain, strengthen your core to treat it. Then that pain may shift to your hips where you have overactive or weak abductors, then it may be your neck. Who knows. But there’s few things as debilitating as chronic pain in one location. The more painful it gets, the less you’ll want to use it and you end up building a positive feedback loop.

This is a field I study. Its more complicated than yes/no. OA is caused by inflammation. However, inflammation when introduced into a joint space raises the friction coefficient between surfaces within the joint. More friction leads to mechanical stress and deterioration.
The friction coefficient for synovial joints ranges from 0.0015 - 0.01 depending on the study. Essentially frictionless. That’s why when inflammation enters the synovial fluid, you hear crepitus or “creaking”. Friction goes up and tendons vibrate like strings on a violin. For reference, ice on a Teflon pan has a friction coefficient of 0.05 - 0.10. Roughly ×5 the conservative estimate for synovial joints.

Seiko makes excellent mechanical wrist watches. What is your intrigue? I’m assuming you like the idea of mechanical wrist watches and want a timepiece that is accurate and built to last. $200 is just a little below their entry price point I believe but you can always find used watches on eBay/Marketplace and the like. If you learn a little bit more about the industry then you might be able to find a bargain and get it serviced to work like new.
I got extremely lucky when I was fixated on the idea of owning or restoring a mechanical watch when I learned that my grandfather left behind a 1930’s Hamilton. Nothing super high end, but a watch that would probably go for $600 today and was my style. I find it hard to match my style today because it seems everyone is searching for a massive statement piece on their wrist. I just wanted a watch that ticks when its quiet, has character, and can be passed on to my own children.

He’s definitely as stupid as he seems. Other, smarter people just see how dumb he is and how much power his position has right now and feed him ideas. Then they all get to make money off it.
For me, nature is one of the neatest things on this planet. That’s why Rodney and I started Neature Walk. Cause we want everyone to know how neat nature is; instead of just me and Rodney knowin’ it.

This guy called it and I trust him more than any other corporate entity to extract it without harming the ecosystem, sooo…

I know a few people that are going to be very conflicted reading this. I mean really Mozilla is just one slippery slope decision from being the equivalent of Palantir or Nestlé…lol

You’re being purposely obtuse. If you believe addiction is a disease, then overeating is also a disease. We have drugs and research guided methods to help deal with both. If its cruel to force addicts to quit cold turkey, then its also true of forcing clinically overweight patients to entirely change their lifestyle. (All the while being vocally judged and mocked)
Most of these people have tried losing weight through diet and exercise and want to get better, but as the other commenter has mentioned, their mind and body works against them. That’s also ignoring the societal conditions pushing us all to calorically dense, quick-n-easy meals and a working schedule that doesn’t allow us much free time to exercise.
As a disclosure, I am 6’0" and 200lbs. Down 30lbs from 3-4 years ago using strictly diet and exercise. BUT I’m also an athletic trainer and my office is in a gym I can use for free.
Millions of jeans are going to need to be washed?

Just let good news be good news brother. We need more of it in the world right now.

I’d imagine its a selectively inforced rule just like every platform
Do you watch TV?
