Awesome, thanks for the insight. I was actually looking at Linux Mint myself. I need around 4Gb on a USB to boot it, correct?
They are all my personal laptops from different parts of my past, that I just never threw away when I upgraded
2, though they are both quite old
I really need to stop putting it off and install Linux on my PC and laptops
Having worked alongside multiple Infosys “consultants” I can confirm the intelligence was definitely artificial in this company
The obvious follow up is, how can I, help to hasten the decline
By ingesting it’s own slop?
England is in the midst of the Hundred Years war with France and considering I’m ~193cm and the average height of a man in England in the 14th century is about 171cm… looks like in getting my arse drafted and shipped off to France, to act as some kind of intimidating presence. That is until I have to swing a sword, which my body, that’s used to sitting in an office looking over excel spreadsheets, absolutely can’t do, so I get bum rushed/hit in the face with an arrow and die.
That’s the most likely scenario.
Worst case scenario, considering I don’t speak middle English or Latin, I’m treated as an enemy and locked up in a dungeon somewhere.
I don’t think there is realistically a best case scenario
Was he ever on them, in recent years?
I just scrolled Facebook, and out of the 44 posts I came across 10 were from friends or pages I had liked. The rest was sponsored slop, or “you should follow this person” type posts.
No wonder the social interaction is down, when less than a quarter of posts I come across are from the reason to have Facebook.
I’m not friends with corporations, so don’t push me their shit.
Prime Facebook was 2007 - 2011/12. When they started algorithm-ing friends posts, that heralded the end. I don’t care that I haven’t interacted with friend XYZ for a long while, I’m still interested in seeing their stuff equally as much as friend ABC who I interact with daily

So felons can run for president, they just can’t vote for who they want though?
I’ll take things that’ll never happen for $100
Just following Apple’s lead by repackaging old stuff as new and charging a premium
Apple always on = 100% screen brightness 100% of the time.
If you want Dimmed always on, as you described for OLED, that’s a $19.99/month subscription
No, I just have a really low opinion of Americans.
Because the rest of the world is fed up of Americans claiming they are xyz nationality when in reality
You’re just an ignorant American who has nationality dysphoria.
Maybe if you stand in a garage you can convince yourself you’re a car? Try drinking only petrol coloured beverages to really convince yourself.
That is the most smooth brain opinion ever. Telling your child they will be having something other than McDonald’s for dinner is not torture, it’s good parenting.
That’s good to know. Mint was going to be my distro of choice
