If only the Greeks could see us now
Man I forgot how slick XFCE looked
Idk what this is but it looks so freaking good

Linux@lemmy.ml•Would it be possible to dumb down a linux phone?
1·2 months agoUbuntu Touch seems like a decent option, but graphineOS seems much more complete. I would definitely recommend keeping an app store though. Security updates are important.
Older pixel phones run relatively cheap if you don’t mind having an older model. Mine was still locked by my ISP, but I used their insurance plan and they sent me an unlocked one lol
Oh dear god not the book tok crap
Not reading the whole article but that pic makes me like him more… SciFi is fiction. An escape from reality. Maybe his books are successful because they help the readers do exactly that.
I think they were expecting more lol

There’s plenty of distros that do let you destroy your system.

1·3 months agoI’ve never used any CLI BitTorrent apps so I’m not familiar with aria2c. That being said, I’ve had no problems with qbit on windows or Linux. Try checking your settings to use if you’re binded to your vpn, if that doesn’t work then there’s other applications like Transmission that are good. If that still doesn’t work then most “linux ISOs” have a direct download option

12·3 months agoSounds like ISP throttling. Are you using a vpn?
They’ll be on ebay for cheap once the hardware is obsolete
Great looking case though. These are gonna make some cool projects in 5-10 years

I’ve used everything from XP to 11. Win 7 was definitely, and by far, the most comfortable for me to use. 8 was hot garbage, 10 was tolerable, and 11 made me switch to Linux a week in.
