Honestly yeah, but you can see this from the Windows and Mac side as well. Just look a few comments above “Can’t have issues if you have no drivers to install!” As if that was any help at all or accurate to reality.
My problem with linux comes from companies that say their hardware works on linux and then you notice that is a blatant Lie. (Had to deal with a wifi board that said they were Linux compatible but weren’t plug and play and the driver needed internet to download and install, genius work there).
Huion has a few tablets that work out of the box (as far as I’ve seen) on Linux. My partner has a Huion and it works perfectly, very little set up. Also work great as a monitor for when your PC monitor is too old and doesn’t wanna show the Bios.
