In an ideal world where this could happen in a peaceful way? I wouldn’t see an issue with that.
In our current world where it seems that the only way for it to exist is one involving mass murder? Absolutely not.

These cases are not about murder, but death sentences following due process. While it’s not exactly the same, it’s still calling for violence, even if it’s in a more civilized and more commonly accepted way. Murder generally refers to unlawful killings.
I will take this to our team to discuss. Although I’m personally against death penalties, as I don’t believe anyone can be trusted with this power as it will absolutely get abused and mistakes will be made, I think discussion surrounding death penalties in general should be allowed, provided there is due process involved. Discussion without referencing specific cases is also not easily possible. This is something that can be difficult to define, as for example Israel also claims there to be due process for the Palestinians they execute and lawfulness can often be quickly changed in favor of the acting regime.

This is definitely a comment that could have been phrased a lot better, but I don’t see how this could even remotely be considered a call for violence.

if you’re not going to provide any references just say so instead of beating around the bush

i just searched through our conversations for mentions of murder, kill, israel, zion or palest, and there is nothing relevant.
you just claimed that jordan was calling for people to be murdered, so please provide references for this.
i don’t remember everything we’ve talked about and i’m not going to read through everything again, but you clearly seem to know what you’re referring to, so that should be easy to find. i doubt that this exists in the first place, and if it does, it was likely acted on already.
i’m fully aware that there are other issues you have with jordan, but since you brought up claims of calling for murder, let’s focus on that.

please share where jordan is calling for people to be murdered.

please go ahead and provide references

I’m sure you have references to us allowing people calling for others to be murdered to support your argument.
We don’t support any murder, neither murder of zionists nor murder of anyone else.

we are not zionists. if you call for zionists to be murdered and then call us zionists that is a call to murder us, despite a lot of people claiming that it’s “just a harmless political slogan”. this is normalization of mass murder. we do not tolerate genocide or other murders either, which is also an accusation that a lot of people are throwing around here. accusations of zionism, mostly from dbzer0/AN users, are constantly thrown around against people that they don’t deem to be radical enough.

defederation was done while this person was still an admin

it wasn’t a regular user. it was a member of their admin team.

the LW accounts are related to a transphobe and all banned now

I’m not sure what exactly you’re referring to, but this issue seems to have been introduced in 0.19.16.

a minimum of 5000€ per month, resulting in a modest salary of 2500€ per developer
how much is that in €?

looks good now, thanks!

I’m only aware of the 3 Ada and 3 Neo accounts that you already banned.
It looks like you haven’t selected the option to remove all their content when banning though, so some of these accounts still have posts and/or comments up when viewed from your instance. if you need references to them again, you can find them in your modlog: https://chatgptjailbreak.tech/modlog?page=1&actionType=ModBan

your instance currently hosts a bunch of new impersonation/troll accounts, which have been reported countless times already. keeping registrations entirely open without any sanity checks and no active moderation will lead to defederation, as at least one instance has already done.
you’re part of a federated network, any spam problem on your instance affects all other instances that this content federates to. if you don’t deal with it at the source it will lead to the source no longer being federated at some point.
i don’t know if you have any say in administration of this instance, as you’re using only a moderator account, not an admin account, but there are at least 6 different accounts less than 12h old on your instance spamming nsfw media, impersonating and harassing other users.

I changed the password after leaking that screenshot
presumably in the time between leaking and changing it? once the password is changed the old password won’t work anymore, and neither will any of the previous login tokens.

Jordan no longer has any responsibilities or privileges beyond being a community moderator at this time.
The original description of our community teams can be found here, but over time this has changed a bit. We’re looking to have this more clearly defined again and are talking to the two active members of the team to figure out a good way forward. Currently, this includes for example reviewing communities with unresolved reports that keep piling up, trying to find new moderators for those communities, and it can also include helping out with instance bans to provide more coverage throughout the day when trolls or spammers show up.
As far as transparency is concerned, there’s still a lot of room for improvement, especially on the timing aspect. We’ve also had more reports in the past about Jordan, but they were either resulting in internal conversations or not necessarily enough to take further actions.

that community primarily is people reporting on behavior of moderators that they disagree with
in the past couple of days it seems like LLM crawlers have been ramping up again, with totally normal traffic patterns like these
we’re currently looking into trying to identify them better without having to serve everyone with a captcha or something like anubis to access the site.
