I remember in school learning about the different areas of the tongue tasting different things, and then we had an experiment to try it, and everyone was like “wow it works!” but I told the teacher it didn’t work for me, and I got told I was doing it wrong =w=
Anywho, the entire thing about different tastes being localized to different areas is bullshit, so that’s 1 point to me and 0 to the teacher
I use VLC. I have no real reason for choosing it other than knowing it since I was a kid, and it doing the job I need perfectly fine so far
I listen to it more. Not because it’ll get it unstuck or anything. Just cause I like the song
And then if im extra bored and the song has a music video I’ll learn the dance choreography and dance in my room in the middle of the night =w=

I’ve also been periodically playing stardew, intermixed with some other games =w= im now at the end of winter year 1 in my current farm
I have my PC hooked up to the TV via HDMI, and I had no issues gaming on it with my dualshock 4 controller either :3. I’ve not dabbled too much into casting/streaming video from desktop to TV
(Plus I found the software for controllers on PC to offer way more capabilities/power than what I could do on the playstation, which is nice as I play all my games on controller even when sitting at my desk)
Well my favourite artist is Quadeca, and I’ve listened to all his songs a million times, especially the albums I didn’t mean to haunt you, and Vanisher, horizon scraper, so that’s 2 whole albums I can recommend :3

For me as someone who speaks english as a 2nd language this is definitely a big one
Though on the topic of the definite article, as a kid I found articles in general to be weird as my native language has none, so there were just these “untranslatable” words in front of some nouns for some reason
I mean… I’d definitely rather have a steam machine over a ps5… the general public from what I’ve seen haven’t had the best opinions on it tho. I suppose it’s to be seen how it shakes out long(er) term
I mean, the only thing keeping them alive is honestly the fact they’re sold as a loss. If they ever for whatever reason stop doing that, they will probably just die, cause otherwise they’re just worse than getting a regular computer =w=
Though with the price increases and with the decline of AAA quality they might just die despite that, who knows
To be honest, I think they were potentially planning or wanting to only go with the digital-only ps5, but after seeing backlash to the idea they went with both the diskless and disk-drive ps5’s to “test the waters” as it were. There’s been a few digital only consoles like the psp go, and the diskless xbox one s, but those as far as I remembered underperformed in terms of sales numbers. If the digital-only ps5 sold well enough or if they observed a general trend of people buying digital on the ps5 it could’ve been the deciding factor that has made them more confident in going forward with it
I mean, they’ve been trying it since gen 7, I don’t know how it’s a major surprise to anyone who has any interest in console gaming
Anywho, as someone who was primarily a console gamer when I was a kid, getting a gaming PC was probably the best gaming investment I’ve made; the experience is just way better in every way
I really want the new one, but I ended up in the 2027 end of the estimated delivery lol
I’ve been to a fair few forest walking trail type things, and I think there’s only one I could consider giving a negative review to, and that’s mainly cause I could hardly find how to get on it, lol. Mind you, it was also dark, so maybe during daytime the entrance was more obvious, but I got to the signpost/information board for the start of the trail and walked around the clearing for like 15 mins not seeing where it continues. I did eventually get on it… the walk was fine other than the 10,000,000,000 mosquitoes… if I ever go back, I’ll remember bug spray
(one of the 2 times I got “lost” looking for a nice nature walk. But the other one was really the fault of google maps (and also funnily both were on the same day)).

Same experiment I had lol. Had to pat down our tongues with a paper towel and then put sugar/lemon/pepper and whatever else on it :3 and yeah, I very much could taste everything everywhere haha
