Geez. All you hear from EVs where I live is the sound of the tires against the ground. Of course very old EVs will sound like a small choir of baby angels, but more recent ones are just silent to me.

I just had a look at the new Volvo EX60 which seems exceptionally quiet. Looking forward to switching out my EX40 for that one when my lease is up.

It’s so stable. I’ve never reinstalled in a decade of use, except only due to hardware failure and when installing on new computers. Love Arch.

How it should be.

Another thing with getting your car out of snow is to put something with traction underneath the tires. E.g. some gravel if you have it, a blanket, or the car mats under each wheel. That little extra traction can definitely mean the difference.

500–1,000 MB every day? That’s worse than my Arch installations. I update it almost every day, each time there’s like maybe 2–50 MB of updates.

It I don’t update for a month or so, there’s usually around 5 GB of updates.

Yeah, it’s really hard for me to give up Facebook because everyone I know uses it, and with a family with two kids, there’s a lot of shit we put out on the second-hand market using Marketplace.

But I’m really itching to eventually… Sometimes my friends will send me a link to some Facebook shit and I barely even want to open it in the DuckDuckGo browser where I’m not even logged in.

I am missing out on a lot of topics I’m interested in from Reddit as well, but for me it was worth leaving.
