Just got back from a road trip from Ohio. Crossed over through New York, went through Gatineau, Ottawa, Toronto, and London, came back through Michigan.
We had a blast, and being our 3rd trip up north, it’s been a pleasure each time. Weed was great, from options, choices, taste, effects, all on point. I love the federal legalization, can’t wait till we get there!
Whole overall experience was awesome.
It’s always been pretty nice, even before it was made recreational. It was easy to find, it was decriminalized, and really nobody cared if you smoked publicly, just don’t be a doink about it.
Now it’s really fantastic. You can get cheaper (and possibly better) stuff from non-legal suppliers, but for the hassle, it’s not worth it. It’s just great though that you can grab what you want when you want, with no legal concerns.
And on the other hand - I can’t believe it’s not only illegal in other parts of the world, but treated as a serious offence. Glad you enjoyed it here, and hoping the US and rest of the world makes the same recreational calls going forward. I’d love to visit other countries and be able to grab a joint as easily as I can grab a beer.
Apologies on Gatineau that place is a bit rough (except for the streets closest to the Ottawa side).
What cannabis products did you try?
Few different companies. To be honest, just went with budtender recommendations. Edison (limelight and cobra milk pre rolled combo pack), Box Hot pre rolled?, Dirty banana? Grape something. Didn’t pay close enough attention
How did you find the price compared to the US?
