      The trick is that Capital wants a device that can stop climate change and make money at the same time. Something they can sell. Like cold fusion, or efficient sequestration, or solar shades, or some other bullshit product that makes money. But the truth is, saving the world doesn’t make you money, and it isn’t free. Bill Ney said it best:

      What I’m saying is the planet’s on fucking fire. There are a lot of things we could do to put it out. Are any of them free? No, of course not, nothing’s free, you idiots! Grow the fuck up, you’re not children anymore. I didn’t mind explaining photosynthesis to you when you were twelve. But you’re adults now, and this is an actual crisis! Got it?
