I loved that moment. All those moments of pause and introspection really enhance the experience with Oneshot. I had the same experience with Life is Strange and BioShock Infinite. More games need to give the players the chance to take in their world in a quite moment.
Seriously, those sections with the author’s children exlaining the simulation to Niko were what really made OneShot for me. Most devs are afraid of putting a lot of text anywhere but in the right place it can be a wonder for worldbuilding.
