Assuming you are arguing in good faith and not trolling, here’s a couple of articles about mass surveillance in Russia and China, two states that both claim to be socialist, and who claim to use this mass surveillance to protect and further socialist interests and oppose capitalism:
Russia does not claim to be socialist, nor is it. The PRC’s “mass surveillance” is lower than in western countries, and is largely directed against capitalists.
