Kentucky’s law is one of the nation’s most sweeping anti-LGBTQ+ laws, limits instruction of human sexuality/gender identity in schools

Around the country, LGBTQ+ students and the campus groups founded to support them have become a growing target in the culture wars. In 2023 alone, 542 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been introduced by state legislatures or in Congress, according to an LGBTQ-legislation tracker, with many of them focused on young people. Supporters of the bills say schools inappropriately expose students to discussions about gender identity and sexuality, and parents deserve greater control over what their kids are taught. Critics say the laws are endangering already vulnerable students.

The HIDEOUS people passing these laws are hateful souls.

Let people live their lives and be happy! Nobody is forcing people into a group they don’t want to be a part of. Some people they DO join these groups need the support … don’t take this from them.

What makes it even worse, is that the assholes passing these laws don’t even care. They’re doing it for votes. The cycle is:

Conservative politicians tell conservative media what they want their cowardly conservative voters to be afraid of- in this case, it’s tEh gAyZ! Now… Once Fox News has the cowardly conservative voters properly scared out of their minds that- tEh gAyZ! are going to destroy America, the conservative politicians can swoop in a play hero by essentially making anything but biblical heterosexuality illegal… so long as you keep them in power of course.

I guarantee behind closed doors, none of them give a shit what anyone does.

They want to take any and all supports that we have away. This just furthers their goal of pushing us back to the fringes of society.
