Took this last summer in Italy. Big bird isn’t really dangerous for the little one (they don’t eat other birds).

Thanks, the compliment means a lot to me. The big one is a jackdaw, the small one I’m not too sure about…

Edit: On second look it’s probably a finch ;)

Hmm yes I thought it was probably a crow of some kind.

It’s a good shot. Well balanced overall, I like the gradient of light to dark from top to bottom. The rock at the bottom also stands out well which draws your eye to the bird standing on it. Gives a really good sense of the depth of the landscape.

Suggestions could be maybe consider pulling focus to the small bird in the foreground? And maybe consider positioning the large rock in the foreground so that there is a bit of distance between the point of it and the edge of the photo?

        🤔

The jackdaw I’m really sure about, they are everywhere in that region.

Thanks for the praise and advice, it’s really appreciated! This image is basically not cropped at all, so unfortunately there is not too much I can do to try and reposition the rock (at least if I understand correctly what you mean). I also agree, tho focus is unfortunately a little off, but that’s just how things go sometimes.
