Yes, pretty much. A web browser is almost always more secure and, at least in the case of my credit union, just as fast with a very usable interface. Whenever I see these people who say “oh I really wanted to use X ROM but it doesn’t work with my banking app” I have to question their commitment to the project and/or level of ignorance. It’s such a minor/non-existent issue to make or break a custom ROM.
Sounds like you should switch to a credit union.
That’s besides the point. We don’t know why OP needs to bank with them.
Yeah I was suggesting really any bank that doesn’t have asinine requirements, I just default to credit unions since they are better for clients.
Better in what respect? Again, we don’t know why OP needs that specific bank.
Your comment is starting to sound like those folks who have the urge to write “Just use Rust,” or “Bitcoin solves this problem” in every thread.
Maybe I’m wrong.
And when it comes to apps, credit unions aren’t always better… In fact I’ve noticed they almost never are.
Why do you need an app for banking…?
As opposed to what, using mobile web? That’s a good question, yes. Some banks have the impression that an app is more secure… go figure.
