I don’t get this argument for practicality of classes. There shouldn’t be any budgeting, taxes related classes. You know basic math, an one hour YouTube video should be enough. For more complicated taxing situations, you’ll hire an accountant anyway. Cooking can actually be nice to learn, but definitely not in primary school. Some high schools actually do have optional cooking courses. My school called it Home Science. For job hunting, most schools do career counseling towards the end of high school. And home repair etc. should be taught by a parental figure. Not everything can be done in school. School gives you the basic tools so that you can learn whatever you need to learn to make a living.
