That’s what in used to use but there are some features you can’t access without the physx components so I get the whole package now. For baseline it’s good for sure.
They’ve never been hidden. You just go to the website, put in your model and download it. There’s apps that do it for you now which is where this must be coming from. Still doesn’t change the fact you can directly download the driver.
And more understanding and acceptance of who you are and what you want/need.
30s is really a great time. Around 35 is when your body will start telling you about all those times you didn’t take care of yourself, so stay fit and eat right and you should be having the time of your life for the next 20 years.

It’s a sarcastic take on common advice. It’s implied by the inanity of the suggestion. Most people got it, wasn’t something you saw. You’ll get it next time :).

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is Lemmy an effective alternative to Reddit?
3·1 year agoWholeheartedly agree. Not too many more though I hope. Once a platform reaches a certain point all the general public arrives and everything goes to shit. You have to keep your corner of the internet nerdyish to avoid this. Been true since the early 2000s for forums and then social media.

1·2 years agoWhat I’m saying is I don’t notice that. Most of the people I see getting honours are regular folks. There’s a few toffs in there and the rest are people who genuinely did something, and they come from all walks.

3·2 years agoMany sportspeople are knighted (Dameified?). Service to community for regular folks also gets honours for those who stand out. At least in the wider commonwealth this has been true for all my life and my parents too. Look up Sir Clive Lloyd, Sir Bobby Robson, etc. There’s a lot of orders of knights who are appointed solely at the discretion of the monarch in there but those specific orders are usually related to the functional aspects of the monarchy. I’m thinking specifically of the orders of the Garter and Thistle here. Generally, at least in Elizabeth’s reign the majority of honours I’ve seen have been for service to the community, arts, sports etc. and the person has genuinely been involved.
Agree on the lordships though

It’s been the same for 20 years at least. My first nVidia card was a geforce2 but I had an integrated SOC one that borrowed main board memory before that called a RIVA TNT 2. Prior to that had an ISA SVGA card but can’t remember who made it:
