ext4 would be normal for linux and windows is usually formatted as ntfs, there’s nothing abnormal with the partitions if you were trying to do just mint, unless the install messed with something weird in the bios I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t boot if you erased the drive while installing mint only, the installation should select that partition to boot without you having to do anything extra
Can you load in to the live usb for mint and see what it looks like when you open gparted? When you reinstalled did you select erase the whole drive or another option?
Here are two videos on clean installing either ubuntu and windows just in case.

Even if you want to keep on dual booting you’ll have to get one installed first anyways.
often times if you had backed up any important files before doing this you are gonna waste less time by just doing a clean reinstall, but you can definitely try to troubleshoot fixing the boot
Agrajag@scribe.disroot.orgto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why is it often cheaper to buy new than repair old and how can repairing be encouraged on different levels of society?English3·7 days agoI would strongly disagree, half the reason AI is being so pushed right now is big business wants to extract growth regardless of how many people are employed and how many people are alive. There is no logical reason to be an anti-natalist, when the problem is quite clearly capitalism, not the amount of people, that’s just rebranded Malthusianism.

The second biggest thing would be nothaving another country with an army so close to them that is “hostile” to their interests. And then after that there would be a lot of other benefits like absorbing their industry, economic zones, military bases, etc. They would much rather have the modern KMT party win an election and vote to become a part of China, than invade, which while very unlikely is not impossible by any means in the span of decades.

Agrajag@scribe.disroot.orgto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why do people consider Al Jazeera as a trusted source?English433·25 days agoEvery news source has bias, Al Jazeera has over 3000 staff, over 400 journalists and access that comes along with being that massive of a news agency. Obviously they are biased towards reporting that favors the government of Qatar who funds them. Particularly if a lot of stuff is happening in the middle east and Al Jazeera has more journalists in those countries with better connections to those countries they are gonna be first to cover a lot of things in the region. They are also much less likely to use passive voice and other qualification when talking about things like Palestine in their reporting. A lot of people don’t want to read “50 Palestinians are shot” instead of “IDF battalion kills 50 Palestinians”.
I don’t think most people who voted for Trump care about the age of consent, biblically it’s not like there’s anything there designating something like that. They might care if he lowered the age of child marriage to 13, but even then that might not tank him.
