Every time I hear about more modern versions of windows I’m more and more glad I switched to Linux

If the adds were bareable it would be different, but no.

Ikr? The whole exciting aspect for me when it comes to the fediverse is that it’s not corporate, and even if some companies made instances they would only be a part of the whole that is the fediverse

This has to be the biggest thing that I’m waiting for to be standardized on the fediverse

With that though there are workarounds that aren’t to hard, though it is true that you have to understand a bit about federation for that

It would be better if you could transfer your accounts from one server to another (Like you can do with Mastodon and Calkey), but I understand that there’s a lot for people to work on still

Same here, no matter what they do now they’ve made it extremely clear what they think about their users, even if something happened tomorrow and the fediverse somehow went down (which would be a feat unto itself) I’m never touching reddit again
