Yup. I try to keep my money in cash or in the bank. Crypto is alright but it’s become a huge issue when guys who have no life skills outside hacking feel the need to assert power over others lives
Just a chill guy, enjoy working in electrical, electronics, and programming.
Also enjoys listening to music, watching movies on Netflix and talking sci-fi and solar punk fantasy lol

Meh. Not all Indians lol
These software guys literally get paid on salary and even get time to spare, the need to fear monger and threaten to destroy people’s livelihoods when you run a huge portion of internet services just shows that they’re not exactly the type to “do no evil”
I don’t think either of them cares much about the middle east or Israel much. If anything they both look at Benjamin the same way Xi looks at the DPRK guy.
Just old upstarts with bones to pick over
Hey man, just look at China, the much darker truth is that in many parts of the world, senile old men run things, your freedom, dreams and purpose is largely meaningless to them unless they’re very close to you or you’ve shown that you also care about their freedom and the well-being of their future offspring.
For a lot of older people, a certain cynicism comes with wisdom, and you’re just like everyone else, a cog in the wheels of a big system. For America and China, where in many parts it’s essentially still a mafia state, this is even more pronounced for people that come into positions of power at an older age as they’re even more experienced at the real life equivalent to GTA politics.
The only real upside is that it’s not as bad as the middle east still but hey that’s a low bar for most that consider war and civil society to be two separate states of existence
Yeah the problem is that wide reaching policy changes is hard to sell on a country wide scale
I had something similar to this after a good trip, but the dark version where nothing matters until it hits you, then spent next few years where my déjà vu and empathy kept breaking through ceilings in its way going up
Chilling at home, nothing much going on, wish I had some more friends to go to the bar, house party or a restaurant etc though
Hmmm… I guess it’ll be a new thing, you know, new problems for old tech… Maybe some of the guys from ReactOS will find some old canonical guys to work with and build a new alternative to windows 7 for all the old computers out there. As for how they’ll make money it’ll probably be great for keeping all the old OEM’s and engineering software companies by keeping their old product lines somewhat relevant
Very strange…
Dunno, I think it’s an idea and definitely a good one but not all ideas need to be built right here, right now
Better built on the moon than on California, no guns or people to mess it up
No it’s that it hasn’t been executed properly yet, as for whether it’s an actual scam is another issue
I feel like if the structure was above the earth, somewhere in the air between two points up in the sky it might be more interesting vs helicopters and airplanes but on earth, one big crack and it’s goners
Bro, you can’t seriously expect one guy can’t fix everything. Just look at all the wars in the middle east, if China keeps their nose out of it, you don’t say a thing, but Biden says he’s hands off, you play the white burden card.
If he’s given money to Israel to sort things out, that might be on the assumption that being one of the premier democracies in the region, they’d lead by example, if he’s wrong technically he’s done nothing, he’s only given money, money being the closest thing to freedom. If shit goes down that’s for Benjamin Netanyahu to answer for, not Biden.
If anything he’s more responsible than Trump and others before him including Bush, he’s not going around planting fascist suggestions or starting wars in the middle east, he’s simply allowing truth and freedom to prevail while standing his ground.
Cheaper laptops and old computers for everyone could start with switching to Linux
Agreed. There usually needs to be a big demand for a shift. Kind of like with Android development. Things tend to slow down once they run out of good ideas.
For Microsoft I think the next big move could be for a whole solar system calendar, e.g. symmetry 454, then synchronise that with a local family/group calendars, social events integration etc, throw in something like bing coin, then throwing it all into a big new multi compatible platform available to all of XP, 7, 10 and 11, add some games shit in there to compete with steam deck, then throw in some hardware CPU cooling accessories to prop up the trash software until they spend the next ten years updating like Lenovo bridge, it so that they can let optimizing their software enough to not fuck things up.
As for how the hell they plan on making money from it all, I suspect that the accessories will eventually lead to subscription costs for certain OEM support. This will encourage OEM manufacturers to engage directly with consumers and retailers to invest in the recycling process so that they can jack up prices across the board.
Use this money to add their shit into some NASA computers for extra hype. No big long term plan, just getting their logo and their foot in the door with the next big direction for computing lol
Nah I haven’t bought a new machine in years, sticking to the old school bro. But I get it, a lot of people who are gamers or streamers would definitely buy in and I get why too because so long as the internet speeds keep increasing, there will be more streamers for the next big game or influencer chit chat etc
Water pistols amok
