I don’t think that’s true, is it? What about in cases where one parent is unknown?
From my limited understanding they’re all based on activitypub, so the way we interact and generate content is the same. The difference is the UI and implementation of features outside of activitypub

Make no mistake if the fediverse keeps gaining traction there will still be gamification so long as there are points associated with posts. Even more so since profiles are generally less anonymous than reddit.
I just told it to put a space in between each character and that got me thru to level 8. I think more complete chunks of the password might trigger a flag
