Honestly I think within the limitations of live action and the budget. There’s probably only so much they can really do. The cartoon show as long as there was budget to produce the cartoon could do just about anything and get as silly as they wanted. I think they probably really were genuinely surprised when they got a second season. But struggled to really write something worthy of it. It was still enjoyable for what it was though.

The antenna were what sold the 2001 for me. That and Warburton. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen anything with Warburton in it that I didn’t like. But between him and those damn animatronic antenna. Even though he didn’t have the proper cowl Etc it was still very enjoyable. The fox show was definitely a lot campier and low budget. But that sort of worked for it in a way. While they had a lot of star cameos throughout the short run. Just some of the basic scenarios and situations were hilarious. Like the tick fighting the Red Scare in an elevator while Jimmy Carter watched on. But then I’m also an older viewer so probably your mileage could vary.

Unfortunately edland didn’t have the full rights to all the characters. So each show is really its own experience. But I think at least some Nostalgia puts the 2001 a little bit out ahead of the Amazon reboot. Even though I could easily recommend it.

The 2001 live action show was enjoyable too. The more recent amazon reboot wasn’t bad either. Actually got two seasons and an arc.

CBS and it’s reliability on anything to do with news is now a joke. They’re blown up any credibility that they may have had left. Turn themselves into a punchline for profits as capitalists are wont.

Politics isn’t a 1 dimensional spectrum. Even 2 dimensions can still be inadequate. Though it is a much better fit. Suficed to say the X axis is generally going to be economic orientation. And the Y axis social orientation. Economic being socialist to capitalist. Social being authoritarian to libertarian. But even then, going to far along social spectrum one direction makes the distinction of capitalism or socialism moot. Authoritarians will use whatever gives them power. They aren’t specifically FOR either. The further you go towards libertarianism however, the less and less feasible something like capitalism gets.

Fascists don’t care, and we all know they’re hypocrites. But far too many people, who should know better, don’t. So it absolutely needs to be restated constantly.

20 years ago no one would have ever heard of a senate parliamentarian. And now the system has collapsed so far that he’s literally the person holding back further collapse right now. It’s just fucking wild to think about it.

Who is it that keeps screeching One China with regards to China’s neighbors? Oh yeah that was china. Their neighbors should arm themselves to the teeth. If China wants to reduce hostilities they should stop announcing and posturing their intent.

Why? Everyone knows Democrats are shit. How is continuing to attack them going to achieve anything? We need to be the ones to actually offer something better and viable more broadly.

Yes, they and Republicans both helped to march us to this cliff. How does jumping off the cliff help us? How did it help anyone.

It’s seriously not worth engaging with them as a party. We need to take power back from the national parties at local levels across the country. But their dead weight can still be useful. Even if it’s just inertia to slow a slide into complete collapse.

During the presidential election we had the choice to either hold our ground or make things worse. Between the Democrats Optical and rhetorical failures. Plenty were also more concerned with virtue signaling to attack them. Rather than do what was achievable. Hoisting that turd over the Finish Line just to spite the fascist and keep them from Power.

Trust me as an anarchist I want to see every National level politician out of the job. And most in the state as well. It’s got nothing to do with supporting them. Just acknowledging the reality of the situation.

Yeah. Incumbents often run unopposed for their party. And sometimes even completely. Even good politicians should fend off primary challenges. It helps keep them focused on serving who the power belongs to lest it be taken from them.
