what’s with you guys not wanting to see other people happy

I’m an Ubuntu user, I’ve never bothered to try any other distro and probably never will. in essence, I just want my apps to work.

I have spent countless hours hunting down specific debian packages that the application that I want needs. I never wanted to worry about installing dependencies and worrying that they don’t interfere with each other in the first place. I really just want my apps to work.

People have complained that snaps have so much bloat, it runs slower, blah blah blah, I don’t care. It works and I’m happy.

Windows products are really really good. All their office products are superior to pretty much anything there is out there. I have wsl installed on my machine for anything development related

a lot of its quirks really do start to make sense when the whole language was essentially designed in about a weekend. a lot of my own weekend code still haunts me to this day

Probably splurge just a bit more for CMR hard drives in my ZFS setup. I’ve had some pretty scary moments in my current setup.
