It seems to me to be a strange way to store your photos, not sure that Telegram is made for that. Especially if the conditions of Telegram ever change, it’s taking a huge long-term risk between losing your photos or worse.

I’m an iOS user too. I’d switch the day there’s a nice little Android smartphone that’s compatible with a Google-free OS (and by “little,” I mean under 5.8 inches, I don’t have giant hands).
I would add DeepinOs in an ultra-modern, automatic-opening building shaped like a trash can.

As a Gnome/GTK enthusiast, I really love Geary. I think it’s the email client that integrates best with the Gnome environment!

The size of the iPhone X was the best for me. Not too big, not too small, 5.8 inches is the way 😇 (Said as a user of iphone 13 mini, which I find slightly too small)
The screen is huge for a phone. This type of screen resolution can damage the eyes on a large screen (the lower the dpi, the greater the strain on the eyes to bring the screen into focus).
6.7" with 1600x720 is crazy in 2025.

I downloaded the app just to see what the interface looked like and when I got to the app, it turns out that you can’t access the app without automatically signing up for a subscription (even though there’s a free trial period, for me this is clearly a redflag).

Capslock + the letter, thats all
What workaround are you talking about ? I can easily type ÉÈÇÀÙ without any workaround 🤔
As an azerty user, I don’t see the issue with the uppercase accent letter. It’s super easy to do on linux, no?

Orion on iOS is a web browser compatible with most of firefox extentions! I use it everyday and I’m happy with it :)

And I wish the same for the combo AndroidAuto/Apple CarPlay. (But I have no hopes for this one haha)

I don’t see anyone talking about it here but I’d dream of an open source alternative to AndroidTV/Apple Tv. Firstly because ATV is ultra-dependent on Google, and secondly because the interface is unclear and not really pretty.
Today I’ve switched to Apple TV, which is much better in terms of UX, but the OS is too closed and sideloading isn’t possible…
So I hope to see some sort of CalyxOS / LineageOS for Tv arrive one day!

I use it every day. The results are much better than Duckduckgo, but maybe that’s because I’m French and it’s a French service.
I don’t know how good it is for non-French customers.

Good one ! I still prefer Prognoza on IzzyOnDroid Repo
Thank you!!! It’s crazy how I feel like no one is talking about it, but there isn’t a FOSS alternative to Google Keep. I tried Joplin, Standard Notes, Logseq, Anytype, etc., but none of them are pleasant to use on mobile. (On the other hand, they are good alternatives to Notion, but that’s not what I’m looking for)
I use Notesnook which I find is complete and not bad at all on pc, but the mobile interface is as unintuitive as the other ones mentioned before…
Beaver Notes seems to be a plausible alternative for now, but is today too unstable and too early in its state (as far as the iOS app is concerned anyway).
