8·6 months agoBelieve it or not, the world has indeed been made worse, it’s just the era of American Domination due to the collapse of the USSR has waned due to previous socio-cultural issues ramping up and COVID-19 as well as the general beginning of change across the world due to the old generation dying out
I mean, they’re already trying to make him one lol. Or be replaced by another ‘charismatic’ conservative, like Tucker.
If the dems can somehow grow that spine or move left to their actual base, then maybe… but until then, good luck USA.

1·6 months agofair, I JUST researched it, but, I only have that drive, where my data is, sooo if I mess up, woops, there goes my system.
I guess I’ll do it if I setup my next computer…?
I think I know how this works with rEFInd, but I haven’t done it because… my drive is a dual-boot so… yeah, unless I get a laptop and install only Linux in 2030 maybe I’ll do it by then… But by then, I might need the extra security anyway.

I look at the twitter
(previously known as x the everything app)tweet and… there’s a lot of ‘wHy mAStoDOn?’ and yeah, its not perfect, there’s a lot of issues, some people are supporting Nostr (which even less people use!!! but, I am curious on what is the point is using one over the other, I am open to that but I dunno) but like, people who use LibreOffice and have a Mastodon Account have a large overlap but I do see where the Twitter people would still exist in that space. Still, I hope they still crosspost or something, as a major org, especially. These days, people use Twitter and see others (especially Bluseky) as weird, and Mastodon as ‘too complicated’ and everything else nonexistent, but hey, I still have a Twitter Account for Following Artists so… until Twitter collapses or something, yeah…
