That is fucked up. If the work is getting done, it shouldn’t matter whether worker is doing it from home or office.

You can customize the Firefox UI entirely by making modifications to userChrome.CSS.
And there are some really good addons for tab management in Firefox.
Oh yes, this one is much better written
Seems to be working fine with ublock turned on
I don’t know what wrong with your browser set up but it takes me properly to lemmy.ml
In such cases, you can just highlight and drag the text to the address bar.
I did exactly that and it works.
I am excited for this!
Mozilla has set up an instance on Mastodon. But it is understandable that they have presence on mainstream social media websites since that is where most of their users are.
I don’t see it as an issue since its locally stored if you don’t have sync turned on. This will only be an issue if your device is compromised, and in such instances your bookmarks would be the least of your worries.
Wait, what? You don’t want them to save bookmarks? Then what is the use of a bookmark? And you can definitely set your browser to erase your history every time you close it.
I have sometimes been forced to use it for work. I have never willingly used it though.
This looks really good! Thanks for suggesting this.
Discord is not FOSS and is a privacy nightmare.
I have been haunted by a bunch downvote bots recently that mass downvotes my post when I post on certain tech related communities on lemmy. I am not sure why this is happening. Since I am on kbin, I can’t see the downvotes or get affected by it anyway unless I take the effort to view the post through Lemmy though.
This is the filter link you need to add to ublock for bypass paywall clean https://gitlab.com/magnolia1234/bypass-paywalls-clean-filters/-/raw/main/bpc-paywall-filter.txt
And here is the repo if you want other options https://gitlab.com/magnolia1234/bypass-paywalls-clean-filters
Oh yes, I have heard a lot of cases like this related to freenom. They deactivate domains that get traction and resell them at a premium (mostly to spammy ad networks that hoard domains).
Okay, so you will get a notification that there was a call but can’t really attend it. That’s still pretty neat!
Same, I am not facing any issues too.
