It really is. Whittling is great bc it’s the one kind of woodworking you can do without your shop. Sitting around a fire or even inside on a rainy day

Doug Linker is great! I’ve done a couple of his tutorials. I can’t wait to see that chess set when it’s done

Thanks! Two hours

Newsmax should have to admit their truth to their audience too

I learned a lot from YouTube with Matt Carves, Cornelius creations, and Logs carving club

Hey that’s how immunizations work!

Everyone is so surprised! I was wondering if it was good enough. I guess I have a talent for this!
Thanks! I have some videos I’m working on editing together I’ll let you know when I post it

That’s so nice of you to remember me!

Wow thanks! I’ve been practicing! I guess it shows

Okay I have the jig clamped to a board here. I use a bit with a 3/4” diameter. If I run it down the length of this jig it will cut a 3/4” dado. So to make the jig I glued a piece of 1/4” plywood onto a wider piece of 1/4” plywood. Then I used a 3/4” router bit to cut through the wider piece by running it against the glued on upper piece.
So wherever I clamp this jig is exactly where my 3/4” dado will go
Here is the circular saw jig that is made and used the same way
Did I explain it well?

Cool project! I’ve made a jig to do this that’s so much simpler. It’s the same thing as a circular saw jig. I just clamp it onto where I want a dado

Looks great!

Looks great! Thanks for sharing

Oh I’m so glad to hear that! Thank you for updating me. Post the project so we can see?
lol thanks bro
Haha that’s very nice I’m glad you were there to share the experience with me. Yes I absolutely would make it again I loved making it.
And then I could use this mirror to create a new stencil which was the hardest part of it
Thank you!
Ya I don’t love that either but I felt it was necessary for structure.
I’m super proud of it!
Awesome! That’s just the look I wanted. I love that style of art and I wanted something like that
Shit I hadn’t even considered that. Glad I know now
