The worst about ideation for me is that a few days/weeks/months later, I’m almost always thinking “I was willing to do that? Because of XYZ? That would’ve been so fucking stupid!”
But in the moment your brain can just be like “topping yourself is clearly the only logical solution” and make you actually believe that shit.
It’s wild.
Sorry, I realise this is a bit off topic.
The word hang up threw me off a little given the context
I dunno, I have so many USB c chargers and cables around that I bin them every time a device comes with another cable.
Yes I completely understand that. But it also undermines the “give your older laptop a new life with Linux” narrative that’s out there at times. It’s actually not that easy. I’m happy running Linux but I wouldn’t put it on my moms old laptop…
This is my life right now.
I put Linux on my HP laptop…
Speakers give weird sound Media keys don’t work Worst of all: ever since I updated the laptop somehow crashes my router? Like, I don’t even know how this is possible, but it’s happening.
I’m not an idiot but all the solutions to getting these seemingly basic things to work as intended are extremely contrived.
I used to be very skinny, like 58 kgs at 186. I met my wife when I was 18 and she loves skinny dudes 😂
Regardless, I did feel self conscious about my skininess because I was bullied for it in school. I’ve both accepted myself, but I also gained about 15kg of muscle by doing starting strength. I’m by no means ripped, but I do feel like I carry myself with more confidence and that goes a long way.
Also, my dude, take this from someone in a 20 year relationship… Looks are neat and all, but finding someone you can actually stand, spend a lot of time and plan a life with is a significantly more worthwhile trait to pursue.
I know I’m in the wrong for missing her text
You are not.

Your partner has some issues she seems to need to work through. Entertaining her delusions probably won’t help her.
My wife has colitis and dairy fucks her up 😮
Can you drink tea?
Reboot your phone
I got adguard lifetime YEARS ago when it was super cheap. I’m glad there’s free alternatives now.
Probably for “security reasons”
Immediately lost me at non-tactile keyboard. Who wants this.
Public space used for the storage of personal items, paid for by tax or rate payers…
My off lease laptop is literally my three year old work laptop. It is a very sturdy HP laptop with 16 GB of ramm, a 512mb SSD and a pretty decent i7 processor. The body is very sturdy and the screen is excellent. I paid about 180 dollars for it.
Companies usually don’t buy their laptops, screens and other hardware, but lease them from companies that then service the hardware.
When a company upgrades lots of the hardware is then sold by the leasing agency to the public for very favourable prices.
Ex lease laptops and monitors are also often very good deals!
The monitors often come with very well adjustable stands that are much more ergonomic. The laptops are often very high build quality and perfect for regular home office use.
I bought an Epson ink tank printer because I was so done with cartridges. I’m quite happy with it so far. Always works, never saw any prompts for me to make accounts or install bullcrap software.
Here in NZ they say you’re made redundant
I’ve found that level of work etiquette extremely uncommon in NZ
