In the cheap one, we have two perfectly flat brass pieces pressing against each other.
I’ll bet you any ammount you want, that’s not brass. It’s iron with brass coating.

It’s… confusing 🤨… birthday party in space, but the main character has to fight asgar the destroyer after the party 🤣.
Yeah, I’ve already found most of these, thanks though 👍 ☺️.
Fair enough 👍.
What is it then.
Well, at least I got a good chuckle out of it 😂.
Yeah, noticed this too, simple things, no prob, get into more gritty things and it will make a mistake. And yes, you tell it to fix it, but then 2 more bugs are introduced 😂.
Put that thing in the wild with no other info at disposal except what it has learned thus far and the real world as input (hear, smell, touch, see), let it roam and see if it can draw conclusions and learn from it’s mistakes. If it can, next step would be better itself, or at least make a plan on what needs to be removed/added to, let’s say, have a more precise hand grip on things, if there need to be code changes, what might they be.
These things are the real AI test, the hell with Touring tests, they don’t prove anything (talk is cheap 😂), tell it to think, learn and adapt, that’s the real test 👍.
These language models serve one purpose and one purpose only, to fill social networks with them and act like humans. Why? People just love to talk. That will keep them glued to the platform with more ad revenue coming in.
EDIT: I did a joke test with ChatGPT, it can’t understand what the punchline is. It thinks it does, but that’s not the punchline of the joke.

Good, same as me, thanks 👍.
Oh, that makes sense… it’s a bug 🤦.
Also, a quick question if I may. How many replies do you see in this post?
https://discuss.tchncs.de/post/558897
My counter says 9, I can only see 3 (4 including my own). I can see all of them from other instances, but not from sh.itjust.works 🤷. Scratch that, I can only see 4 from my other accounts as well. Don’t know why the counter is messed up like that.
It’s not actially AI, none of the so called AI are. They’re just really good at predicting what you would like to hear.
Yep, I also mod a comm here and I’ve been having problems viewing comments or posts on other instances and vice versa. It’s like it’s stuck with federation, it’s 3, 4 days behind on some instances.
Just use 1337x.
What if the account has 2FA?
The boobs are nice though 👍.
Look at the sidebar info on your instance, there should be links for donations.
It’s related to the language selection when replying. KBin doesn’t have an undefined language setting, so that makes compatibility issues.
And, for some reason, Liftoff shows the replies and the whole tread just fine (even this thread, cuz there were a lot of replies from KBin). Neither the web UI or Jerboa expand the collapsed replies (they show collapsed by default, as soon as I open the link to the reply), but Liftoff shows them expanded by default 🤷 (currently replying from Liftoff).
I meant as in opening my own instance, thus, all of the hosting fees are on me (and a few other people, but mostly me). I currently run that forum, so I pay the hosting fees, things aren’t gonna change much if just switch to another platform.
Pictures don’t seem to show up… but I’m guessing this is a caching issue, so it should be resolved by itself.
