I start with drying my anus and work in concentric circles out from that, so yes, my face is about last
Hillary please just shut up and keep doing your $60,000 speeches on Wall Street. No one will ever like you and you are poison for the Democratic Party
My general impression of blue collar union workers is that they are some of the dumbest, most ineffectual and short-sighted organisms to be given the title of “sentient.” It’s really no surprise to me
It’s much cheaper (and better for psychological conditioning to the Policed States of America) to just hire the cheapest community college dropouts with a pant size bigger than their IQ than it is to attract, train, and maintain a respectable (read: “for the community”) police force. If the US adopted similar requirements for their police as a country like Germany, I’d imagine we’d lose well over half of our force instantly, with most of the rest quitting soon after being asked to not shoot people at the first sign of noncompliance.
Literally every other police force in the world could handle some untrained bloke with a pocket knife, ditto for a pair. They do it every day.
But no, the solution here is to never have a system in place where the people catching fare jumpers are the same mentally unstable domestic abusers who are given a carte blanche to kill anyone who does anything less than kiss the ground they walk on
Imagine killing three people over a $2 subway fare and parading around the city like you’re anything other than a domestic terror force
No but the CEO had to cut down to just one new AMG Merc per year. It’s a doggy dog world out there
One opened in my city, only Aldi within 50 miles. It is always packed and both of the major regional grocers have raised their “now hiring” wages several dollars, run much more aggressive deals, and their parking lots are maybe 4/5ths as full as they were a month ago.
Which is great for me because I’ve been to several Aldis and realized it just isn’t for me. Being one guy with a pretty weak appetite, the actual dollar savings don’t really come out to much for me (maybe -$10 versus a major grocer if I’m really stocking up), and the “Aldi Experience” doesn’t really mesh with how I buy food. It’s still great to have them in the market, though.
Not like that. I’d rather the FV just slowly accumulate internet weirdos, OSS nerds, etc., than triple in size overnight because some pop singer told their fans to join
Yeah I don’t want those type of people here.
NPR is usually pretty good about understating headlines. Most times, I appreciate it, but this one could probably use some more meat on it
Even then, like, am I the only person who isn’t against candidates having an earpiece and a team helping them? When do you ever think the POTUS is alone and making split-second decisions? They’ll always have an advisor or some type of council around them.
Remember, Republicans were bragging about Trump not preparing for the debate
In court papers, prosecutors described Timothy Hale-Cusanelli as a “Nazi sympathizer” who went to work at a Naval Weapons Station with a “Hitler mustache.”
Gonna be honest, I kinda hate how the toothbrush mustache is a social faux-pas. It’s cool. It’s clean. It’s modern looking. There’s not many ways to style a mustache and having one of those very limited options being “illegal” sucks, as a guy who can’t stay clean shaven for more than 12 hours and is always looking for ways to style it. I was almost ready to say, “maybe he’s just a trendsetter.”
“Hitler mustache?” Man, that’s a Hitler cosplay.
I s2g if Dems were even half as cool as MAGA says they are…
Learn 2 type b4 u reply 2 me. Now. Lmao
But I’d suspect the number of Taylor Swift fans who weren’t going to vote at all was a fair bit larger.
Granted, there’s really no consensus on the impact of celebrity endorsements, but if anyone can affect how people vote, I’d wager that the biggest pop star in the country could be the one to do it
Never said that the cop acted properly or that the same thing would’ve happened even if Hill did everything right, but JFC he did nothing for himself in that traffic stop.
Cops are bastards. Getting pulled over sucks. But everyone with a brain knows that when it happens you keep your hands on the steering wheel, say “yes/no, officer,” and follow any reasonable request they make for you to get things done as smoothly and stress-free as possible, and then you take the ticket straight to an attorney and fight it in court.
Pretty sure the federal budget is a little over $6 trillion
