Both of those functions have been available via key fob for at least a decade, no internet required. Though yes the range on that can be limited.

They probably did that to try to learn more about their longevity and habits
I often just fail until it gets embarrassingly or super inconveniently bad. My only strategy that was ever even a little helpful was breaking the task into tiny micro 5 minute tasks and writing them all down, and doing a few of those at a time. I had adhd though, and am hoping medication will help with that (so far it has a bit).
I’m pretty sure you would go very crazy alone in a chair for 4 billion years
As others have said, you need to take your cat not peeing very very seriously, it can quickly become a several thousand dollar surgery or ICU stay, and it can even be fatal, if your cat is that stressed I think you need to temporarily remove the kitten at least and try again more gradually and with the advice others have given. But for now you need to take your cat to the vet asap.
Yeah I had that bug too when imbedding more than 1 image
As of the recent Lemmy update I’ve been having a bit of issues but it’s still running ok. Definitely some bugs creeping in but hopefully the devs feel less burnt out soon and can keep it working, even if they aren’t upgrading.
Atoms in a stable state are very strong and it would take incredible amounts of energy to pull them apart
You weren’t an asshole
Yeah from my brief reading it seems they can adapt to food salinity by altering their urine concentrations so I don’t think that’s a huge factor, at least it’s not something that comes into play before the other factors begin to harm them. But if you could fix their skin and buoyancy, diet may start to matter. But their prey is also a different salinity than the water it lives in a lot of the time, and sometimes they eat land animals like birds and such ofc.
There is still a bit of the Finless Porpoise left there, but not dolphins specifically no.
There are types of freshwater river dolphins in the Yangtze (well, one of these species probably is extinct there as of recently but still) and the Amazon, for example. Sea dolphins can survive in freshwater for awhile but their skin isn’t adapted to it, and it will get damaged eventually. That and the difference in buoyancy in sea water vs freshwater leads to the sea dolphins eventually getting exhausted in freshwater.
Another question - you said things are going backwards. When do you feel that things were better, and what made that time practically better in terms of not objectifying people?
Is it? Or is it to allow people to indulge in and express sexuality outside of a relationship? I don’t think it has a singular purpose of objectifying people. If people take it that way I think it’s more indicative of a problem with their attitude that they may need help to reframe.
Do violent shows or horror movies make you feel human life is worth less because it shows people getting hurt or murdered?
I agree that doesn’t seem healthy. Misogyny is nothing new, though, and in your post you said people are reducing themselves to sexual objects but the example is people reducing others to sexual objects, which is not really the fault or necessarily the intention of the person being objectified
In what way do you see embracing sexuality as contradictory to being a whole human? Can you give examples?
I’m having the same issue with movies7
What was the South’s argument for wanting the North to also have slavery?? I’m Canadian and not a history buff so idk much, but it seems a strange thing to try to enforce in other regions that don’t want it? I do see the parallel with the abortion access issue, so I can take a guess, but still, what logic did they they put forward for that argument (not just what they actually wanted but what they said their reasons were as well)?

No, for moose you are actually supposed to swerve and risk the ditch.
