Only if you go by number of species. If you go by actual biomass our livestock accounts for 60% of all mammal biomass. Wild mammals only make up 4%. The rest is humans.

If you didn’t know Peacock is the same as NBC. It’s their online streaming service.
My pixel 8 lasts 2 days easily (if I turn off 5g of course, that shit hogs so much power.) Have others been having a problem with it?
Don’t pretty much all modern .zip managers know to not open zip bombs anymore?
My monitor AW2432DWF does allow you to turn off HDR, although it is a relatively recent monitor and my first HDR one, so I don’t know how common that is.
Except everything points to it not getting better. This isn’t like a possible terror attack. We’ve known about climate change and have had 40 years to do something about it and it has been ignored. What evidence do they have to show it will all work out okay?
Well I can tell you that you’re debating on vain then. You’re never gonna convince an atheist until you have solid evidence of a higher power. And trust me, you don’t.
I definitely see issues with how it targets young people so aggressively and can have a huge negative impact on their mental health. China can essentially use it as a tool to lower the mental health of our youth and spread misinformation on purpose. The fact that the version available in China emphasizes educational content and limits usage per day shows that they know exactly what they are doing with the international versions.
They said 10 khz not 10 hz
That should be no surprise. They have been designed to be purposefully addictive.
When the alternative is letting an actual Nazi type leader win, people should be weighing their options accordingly.
That’s a lot more than “just the tip” tbh
Incredible argument. Can really see the thought you have put into this.
The people who don’t know how I understand completely. But honestly people who have the know-how are underestimating how easy it has got. I can torrent a movie at a much higher quality than Netflix will even stream to my PC and do it all within 5 minutes.
No but I don’t care about seeing them on social media. I don’t desire that at all, if I am gonna keep in touch with someone it will be in person or through direct messages.
You can’t deny the amount of crazy progress in machine learning in the past 3 years. The hype is pretty understandable, far more than crypto ever was.
Especially with a lot of new EVs on the road that use regenerative breaking if your foot is off the gas.
I doubt Microsoft even thinks about Linux as a competitor in the consumer space. People on Lemmy are seriously delusional about how many people use or even know about Linux.
Nope. Because you don’t know when it will collapse,. Imagine you have 2 balls, a red and a blue. They are both put in boxes and each ship takes 1 box. After you travel a long distance you open your box. You have just collapsed the “superposition” of what color the balls were. You now know what color both balls are, but you don’t know if the other person has looked in their box yet.
I think a lot of people get confused by the term “observe” when talking about collapsing quantum uncertainty. Observing requires a photon to interact with the particle which is what caused it to “choose” what state it is in.
Theoretically could congress pass laws stating that the EPA has the right to regulate all chemicals if they do choose? I’m sure it would also have ramifications I suppose
