I get your point, but let’s be honest, that’s exactly what will happen

I am actually, this is exactly what I was looking for! You’re a saint
I’d say at least half of all modern nations, but yeah the US is one of the better examples
I’ll upvote you for admitting to your mistake, that’s better than most people on the internet. Thank you
Yes, because having a social media account is EXACTLY the same as having a child 🙄 For the record, your example is still hypocritical, it’s just not nearly as life-changing
Outstanding reference

I work for a small (but successful) company that is starting to get their shit together and actually build resources instead of saying “Well, just do what we did 3 years ago” to someone who has no idea what they’re talking about
Literally never heard of Trello in my life until today…when my boss sent me a link to join their board…
Good bot (does this work here?)
This is exactly right. They did the same thing with the iPhone. Launched with minimal features, riddled with bugs, the butt of every joke and cynical opinion, and let the consumers tell them exactly what was wrong with it in excruciating detail. 5 years later, a literal majority of all human beings alive had one in their hands (or similar products from their competitors). Will this specific product be any good? No, probably not. But in 10 years or so, it may very well be the next thing everybody has to have in order to function in society
I ask myself this question every day. I’m starting to think that once enough people just independently start burning, it’ll eventually spread to the rest of the population like wildfire (pun absolutely intended)
Like another comment said, your best source is going to be their own websites. But from an outsider’s perspective, their motive seems to be taking the good ideas from the Abrahamic religions (love your neighbor, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, etc) and replacing some of their worse tendencies (close-minded devotion to YOUR interpretation of God and anything less will send you to Hell) with their polar opposites: “Beliefs should conform to one’s best scientific understanding of the world” (Tenet V from The Satanic Temple’s website)
In addition to all the other (better) answers on this post, I’ll just add: There is literally nothing stopping someone from buying one of those stickers and slapping it on their car like they would any other sticker. No one’s gonna pull you over because you don’t look like a beginner driver
After skimming the article, it appears that the heights are relative to the start. So starting on flat ground then going up hills will look worse than starting halfway up a mountain and climbing the rest of it
