No, it would make it the second 2 letter non country code top level domain. .su is the other.

It probably won’t be.
Not only is the agreement between the UK and Mauritius on the brink of collapsing (bizarrely, the UK is trying to get rid of territory and Mauritius doesn’t particularly want it very much), but there’s so much reliance on the .io domain that it’s unlikely to be removed.
Especially because tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Apple make use of it.
He’s CEO of a large company. He’s already in politics. Politicians do the bidding of people like Altman.
For the record, the TSMC N2 node being worked on experimentally at the moment (and is expected to be more performant than Intel’s 18A) currently has over 60% yields.
We don’t have exact figures on TSMC N4 (what AMD CPUs currently use), but reporting is widely that it is “over 80%”.
Sigh. Can’t retort so you just claim someone is a bot. A poor tactic, usually employed by the… er… academically challenged.
You keep lying. Lying is bad. Don’t be a liar.
You can go now. Alt-tab back to the PowerShell windows users constantly have to use.
You don’t need it, though. Who actually verifies the md5sum of their ISO?
Can you install without doing it? Yes. Therefore it’s not needed.
Needed: necessary. A requirement to perform a duty.
Plus you regularly need it in Linux, and you don’t in Windows. That’s the point.
Completely untrue. I have to use PowerShell and the registry quite frequently (at least every month or two). I don’t have to use the terminal in Linux. Ever.
You are just making shit up.
Do you actually think, sigh, ‘normies’ use the command line, powershell, or registry in Windows? The whole point is you can use it but don’t have to. On linux you’re forced to use it at times.
Sigh yes, sigh they sigh do sigh, because sigh shit sigh breaks sigh and sigh you sigh need sigh to sigh go sigh there sigh to sigh fix sigh it.
Sigh.
Why do you keep making shit up? I’ve not used it on my PC for years. I don’t even have it installed. That’s how unnecessary it is.
Where’s this “force”?
Why are you lying so much? Were you never taught to never lie?
You know Windows is exactly the same right?
- Right-click Start and select Windows PowerShell.
- Navigate to the folder with the iso image. cd ~/Downloads
- Check the hash Get-FileHash Win10_2004_English_x64.iso | Format-List
Nice try, though. I’ll let you have one more go.
Windows is just too difficult for normies to use. All that command line stuff, PowerShell, registry stuff.
Trying to do 10nm without EUV was a forgivable error, but refusing to change course when the node failed over and over
You say this, but 14nm was also awful for a while at the start for them, then they eventually cracked it. I don’t think it’s unreasonable that they thought they’d work out the kinks of 10nm (which they by and large did, actually). Additionally, it’s not like they had much other choice. It’s not like they had other better-than-14nm fabs ready to go.
What is it with tech bros/awful businesses bastardising Tolkien’s creations? Palantir, Anduril…
You don’t have to use the command line at all.
I’ve worked 84+ hour weeks for extended periods and they are rough. On the body and on the mind. Your social life also suffers. People really shouldn’t work like that.
stating that they own any data on the PCs and can use it (sell it) if they wish.
Having fake performance numbers on their website
No, it really isn’t much of a thing for the rest of the world. You’d never see someone from, I dunno, Poland saying they’re Irish because 23andMe says they’re 2% Irish.
Don’t try to compare an American claiming to de a different nationality just because they may have had an ancestor from XYZ to something like transphobia.
They are not the same. And rolling my eyes at the ‘plastic paddy’ crowd is not bigotry.
That is an absurd comparison to draw.
I’m aware of the history. It’s still weird. You need to understand that nowhere else does this. It’s strange.
It’s not just him. The “I’m Irish/Italian” crowd is a widely known-about American thing.
I didn’t mean to offend you. Relax. I never said all Americans do it, you don’t need to come up with some reactionary strawman just because you took my comment to heart.
I went into this video expecting it to just be “this service is poor value” or “we had an issue with customer support” but holy shit this is far worse than I expected.
This is real journalism. A lot of research and effort clearly went into this. They even hired a lawyer to go over some things with them.
This is definitely a scam from NZXT. And kudos to this channel for cancelling a $23k ad agreement with NZXT when they found out about it.
True, although that would only go as far back as parents or grandparents. And a PDF from 23andMe saying you’re 8% French certainly wouldn’t be usable grounds to claiming citizenship.
I’m aware. There’s an absolutely huge amount of Germanic-descended people, for example. That’s why I spoke of it being the ‘perceived’ default.
And so could .io
