It’s because people can’t read it as fast as people talk. Or, the dub has to match up the mouth movements, but the subtitles don’t.

I watched a fan-subtitled anime a long time ago, where they literally translated every word. It was like a paragraph of text on each screen, and it was impossible to keep up with.

I have this issue on iPad Air 4.

It seems minor, but having community icons show next to the name is really important to me. I’d also love for the community name to be on the left side or closer to the title of the post (like it was in Apollo).

Seconded! I switched back to wefwef for now, also because of community icons and placement. But I’ll be checking Memmy often for updates!
