I basically need to stick this xkcd chart next to my computer or I’ll spend days creating something that saves me minutes per years.
Although sometimes it’s fun to automate things just for the hell of it.

My first smartphone was the Motorola Droid 2 and it could easily be over clocked from 600 MHz to 1200 MHz. The dynamic overclocking even helped the battery life. I miss the keyboard, it was great for playing old video games on emulators.
I’ve had no issues with it except for one hostel I tried to email not getting my email. The web interface isn’t the best, but I access my email almost exclusively though IMAP. I’ve also set up my calendar and contacts though it.
I picked posteo over proton and tutamail because of the IMAP support. I didn’t want to use a proprietary app.
In Georgia (the country) they make wine by smashing the whole grape (including stems) and fermenting it in a clay vessel (qvevri) without any additives. The winemakers told me all the yeast is on the grape skins and that washing them removes it. The wine does have a distinctly different taste versus wine make with cultured yeast.
Or privatize it using a friend’s company.
The Motorola Droid 2 was my first smartphone and I sorely miss that slide out keyboard with dpad.
I sadly became one of those people last year. I had every intention of keeping my Pixel 5A for a long time but when faced with a $250 repair bill I bought a used pixel 6 for $240 instead of fixing it. I do regret it because the battery life and antenna on the 6 is awful compared to the 5a.
If only google would stop blocking display out on pixels.
I just turn off JavaScript and then right click works again.
I get this a lot. I use the libredirect browser extension to open reddit pages in libreddit now.
Just like those lead bags you put film in at the airport
Unfortunately the 5a was the last pixel with a headphone jack.
Since GrapheneOS added eSIM support withput google I’m tempted to try to remove Play Services from my installation. How do you find out which apps require Play Services?
I do the basic maintenance stuff myself and then pay a shop to tune up the bike each spring. When you use a bike to commute suddenly $150 a year doesn’t seem like much to spend on it. That’s less than one month of parking at my last job.
I had an Eee PC. It was very slow and the poor resolution of the screen made it hard to use.
And you are asked to add more fields and buttons, but the interface was made in a very old version of visual studio and it breaks something every time you open it up in the editor.
They’re both license in American English.
Edit: Same for practice.
My laptop won’t charge from USB-C if the battery fully dies, so I shut it down to prevent that.
I’m using posteo with Geary on linux and K-9 on Android.
The android version was awful from the start
