Okay - this is definitely an issue. I’ve created a codeberg issue, with screenshots: https://codeberg.org/rimu/pyfedi/issues/1473
Update: I verified that the scheduled posts can be seen on two Lemmy instances before their scheduled time.

Oh, I know for certain that the time zone is correct – it’s set to CST. And, adjusting to GMT 6:00 was correct. And, I can confirm that on feddit.online it wasn’t posted until the correct time.
So, unless there is a timezone calculation being done incorrectly somewhere (either piefed or lemmy), I don’t think that was the issue.
(And, FWIW, the timezone has been set consistently for all my scheduled posts over the last month, and I haven’t seen this behavior before.)
Here’s an image of the date/time stamps on the post, and on the comment:

Is this worth putting in a bug report for? I can’t even say if it’s occurring regularly, or if this was a one-time glitch. I’ve signed up for an account on a Lemmy instance so I can see if it happens again tonight.

What’s insane about this is the reporter literally just asked reasonable questions given historical context. Leavitt is a fucking joke.

Yeah, that will be a big one to watch in just a few weeks.

True. Definitely easier said than done, but I welcome anyone who is actually willing to get a metaphorical concussion from banging their head against those brick walls.

I won’t say there isn’t room for concern, especially as there are quite a few people that are starting to think that the issues between the parties are irreconcilable. And the problem is, one party seems more disingenuous than the other – at least that’s my perspective.

Oh! This is just the beginning… Just watch the first Tuesday in November, when a lot of special elections happen. ;)
But, the real stuff won’t happen until November, 2026 – which will be the mid-terms where a bunch of our Senate and Congressional seats will be up for elections…

There’s a lot in the list that @soupbrick@pawb.social posted that makes him an interesting competitor… ESPECIALLY the revolving lobbyist door, and the stock trading issue…that’s the kind of stuff that really should be dealt with.

What timeline are we living in where MTG is actually starting to talk sensibly about some of the bull-puckey that Trump is pulling?
Don’t get me wrong - she still is not a good person, in fact she is downright despicable on many levels. But crap, she’s actually talking against Trump on two issues now.
But, honestly, I doubt her sincerity on the tariffs issue. It’s most likely that she’s concerned that the businesses that have been stuffing her pockets for years won’t stuff her pockets anymore.

I cannot think of any world in which there is any kind of logic that could even remotely justify such a move.
Then again, logic hasn’t stopped Trump in either his first or second term…

At this point a shutdown might be for the best – keep them from changing a bunch of stuff in parts of the government where we aren’t looking at.
That’s one of the things that really has me nervous – we’re seeing so much crap that they are doing publicly that I am really concerned about the stuff we aren’t seeing.

This is definitely something that has been coming for some time. Yes, I am a little surprised it has taken this long for a major channel know for hardware reviews for gamers to take this step… I would have thought that the popularity of the Steam Deck, and all of the handhelds that are now running Linux would have been a motivator.
But it seems that Steve is really seeing that there is more of a progression of people not wanting to go to Windows 11, and the issues surrounding Microsoft’s insistence on adding creepy features that no one asked for (like Recall) as the push they needed.
And I agree, Bazzite is probably one of the best choices that they could make. The immutability of the system will allow them to have consistent images that won’t change on them randomly. That is a definite requirement when dealing with this type of benchmarking.
Umm, more like any beliefs. Well, okay, they do hold the belief in their expanding pocketbooks.
