I’ve been following Alexandr for years, and the dude is crazy talented.
But also if I was a guitar he would be like the boogyman to me, because this man seems to eat guitars

I see your point and I agree, except that that isn’t what these headlines are saying. Granted, perhaps that’s just the standard issue of sensationalism and clickbait rather than being specific to this issue, but the point remains that while the articles may be as you claim, the headlines are still presented instead as “A chainsaw can’t even drive a simple nail into wood without issue and that’s why you should be angry anytime you hear a chainsaw.” I dunno. I’m just so exhausted.
Anyone else tired of these clickbait headlines and studies about LLM which center around fundamental misunderstandings of how LLMs work, or is it just me?
“ChatGPT didn’t get a single answer on my algebra exam correct!!” Well yes, because LLMs work on predictive generation, not traditional calculation, so of course they’re not going to do math or anything else with non-language-based patterns properly. That’s what a calculator is for.
All of these articles are like complaining that a chainsaw is an inefficient tool for driving nails into wood. Yeah; because that’s not the job this tool was made for.
And it’s so stupid because there are ton of legitimate criticisms about AI and the AI rollout to be had; we don’t have to look for disingenuous cases of misuse for critique.

Sir there are literal Nazis online.
Perhaps. But just because duck à l’orange is the superior dinner entree doesn’t mean I can’t still be perfectly satisfied with a nice grilled ribeye steak.
Black Widow is a good film tho?
Because it was never supposed to be about raising money, it was supposed to be about answering the call and running for office in your community to directly impact change, but unfortunately nobody wants to do the work and take on the responsibility of running and holding offices.
And of course to be clear, I say this as somebody who also hasn’t answered the call, but nonetheless I feel like we keep forgetting that Bernie was telling all of our to be the architects of our own political destinies
Exactly like fishes.
Hey now, “vinyls” is a perfectly acceptable word… Assuming you’re referring to multiple different types of vinyl, rather than multiple records or other vinyl products 😉
Tbh I already think that the fact that you have to get a goddamn permit for a protest is infringement. Imo our ability to organize, plan, and protest should be unbarred, not contingent on any sort of permit or paperwork.
That much I do indeed agree with, we just have to balance those intentions with the reality of understanding the worst of the right truly do not care and will say literally anything, including bold-faced lies directly to your face
Unfortunately it won’t matter because the simple fact is that the people supporting these things simply do not care if it endangers women. They have made it beyond obvious that a woman’s, any woman’s, well-being is simply inconsequential to them.
We have to stop trying to appeal to the humanity on the right, because anyone who supports the right has knowingly chosen to forfeit all of their human decency.
I do use alternatives, but I mention Google because it’s what’s relevant to the conversation at hand.
Cool, pedant. Addend “on google” to my comment then if you need, since that’s clearly the context we’re talking about here. I’m aware there are other search engines, but context should have made what I was talking about pretty fucking obvious.
Don’t worry, I’m sure google will disable that soon in the same way they disable all the other search syntax that used to make searching a simple and easy task
no skill from the person doing it.
This feels entirely non-sequitur, to the point of damaging any point you’re trying to make. Whether I paint a nude or the modern Leonardi DaVinci paints a nude our rights (and/or the rights of the model, depending on your perspective on this issue) should be no different, despite the enormous chasm that exists between our artistic skill.
And I bet horse carriages outsold the Ford Model-T this year too
Nuance, friend.
The message isn’t don’t educate the willing, the message is learn to pick your battles. I believe in the philosopher’s burden and allegory of the cave too, but I understand that even if you could tear from their chains and into the light, they still cannot see unless they’re willing to open their eyes.
I’m not saying don’t try to convert any opposition, I’m saying don’t waste your time with those who have cut off their ears.
Which is interesting, because the point of the phrase is to imply something is so commonplace that it practically has no value. It’s so commonplace you can get a dozen of them for a dime!
So technically while the relative value of the dime in this phrase decreases, the relative value of the phrase itself increases as the dime’s value ever further approaches negligible, ever better emphasizing the point!
Words are fun.
