The guy who thinks it is un-American for minorities to have political action committees thinks my beliefs are twisted?
I’m happy about that. Because I think your belief on the subject is un-American, and honestly, weird.

I never said being Jewish was a requirement. But it’s a political action committee representing the interests of Jewish-Americans.
And by the application of US law, and AIPAC’s observing of US law, it is an American organization. You can disagree, but you are literally arguing against US law here, not me or my opinion. It is your opinion that is not reflected by reality here. Which you are American as well, you are allowed to hold these opinions and in many ways I would agree the law is wrong here, but facts are facts, and they say you are wrong.
Given the context that you are responding to a previous conversation, arguing with me doesn’t really make sense unless you were defending the other position.
So if you aren’t defending them, what is it that you are trying to do?
100% of their funding is what the person you are defending said.
AiPAC is American through, as are its members… who are Jewish.
We gotta be careful when we start saying politically organized minorities who hold citizenship aren’t American enough. It doesn’t sound good, and maybe you aren’t intending that, but that is how it comes off.
The person you are defending doesn’t believe the 3 million members of AIPAC are donors. They stated that Israel is funding the entire operation.
When I told them that was not the case, they stated I was brainwashed into holding antisemitic beliefs by AIPAC, and therefore by Israel.
Quick question, my maggot friend: why are you defending somebody if you don’t even understand what it is they said?
The laws of the US state that money is speech and Americans are allowed to use their speech to support political causes.
But if the argument is that 3 million American Jews aren’t American enough, I am going to hold your feet to the fire on that.
I understand the confusion now.
If you scroll up you will see the other person referred to AIPAC as the Israeli government and claimed they were funding the whole operation.
I pointed out that what they were saying was incorrect. It appears you and i are in agreement here and your comment was meant for the person you thought you were defending.
I would also point out that the 3 million members of AIPAC are not donating to Israel, they are donating to AIPAC.
Unless a lobby group has been sanctioned, all Americans can donate to whatever PAC they see fit. That’s called the first amendment.
So you entered a conversation by pretending I said something I didn’t and when told thats what you were doing, you decided that meant I don’t know what lobbying meant.
It’s good to see you are up to the same bad faith tricks you have been since I arrived here, June of last year. Never change, my friend, though that goes without saying, since you clearly never intend to.
I didn’t say AIPAC had 3 million lobbyists.
If all you guys can do is purposefully misconstrue everything your opposition says, it probably means you are wrong.
I have been incredibly pleasant to you, so thank you for wishing me a good day.
So not only have you accused me of being brainwashed into holding antisemitic beliefs by some American Jews, you are now accusing those same 3 million American Jews of holding allegiance to a foreign government over their own nation.
Please, continue.
You think it’s not true that AIPAC is comprised of American citizens?
You really should research something before you decide to be against it. You would look foolish less often, I promise.
You are arguing against a guy correcting the record about AIPAC by claiming he is an antisemite.
I don’t personally have to be bright myself to be brighter than you in this situation.
Was there anything else you felt you needed to say?
Ahhh.
What exactly do you think the person who said, “Israel isn’t 100% funding AIPAC and that it isn’t a Israeli government body but rather a lobby group comprised of Americans” is projecting? Besides the facts, obviously.
You’re asking if I am a film projector?
You’ve lost the plot.
You think I am a supporter of AIPAC just because I corrected a factually incorrect statement?
Oh lord, you are not bright.
Please provide the text of my saying all jews are equated with Israel.
The numbers I have seen state that about 60% of Americans support Israel, with 25% unsure which side they support in the conflict.
