Can I suggest “What dish is made when a hen stares at lettuce?”
Something about having part of the punchline in the set-up always irks me.

Interesting. In the UK (at least when I was growing up, I haven’t lived there for some time) we called doing up shit cars as Barry-ing them. I know in other parts of the country they used the name Ned or Kev to refer to the people that drove those cars.
This looks awesome.
Can you use this same service to get free to air channels from other countries too? The UK for example?
But there’s people there!!!
What do you call that same man without a spade in his head?
Douglas
Me too, I downloaded a freeview app. Doesn’t look like any other games are showing though if NZ is not involved
I figured out I could download a free view app onto my TV so didn’t need an aerial
I paid for youtube premium which not only gets rid of ads, but gives you access to the youtube music app. I got rid of Spotify because of that and end up paying less money for more functionality.
I think once there is enough info on lemmy it’ll just get to the point where the searches will bring up the information you need.
I feel like if I’m searching on Google I want it to take me to the most relevant source of information even if that still is reddit. It won’t always be. But it is still right now.
Nothing wrong with competition, it’ll give better search results.
Oh yeah you gotta mute group chats. Otherwise you’d never get anything done.
There’s a few different tech solutions coming out and already out for this type of thing in the VR community. The most popular one I know of is the bHaptics Tactsuit.
It took me about a decade to get people I needed to contact just onto WhatsApp from fbmessanger so I could delete Facebook. I’m never going to get people to move to a new messaging app.
Congratulations to you! The true saviour of Hyrule! Can we have a quick interview for the people at home? How do you feel on this momentus occasion?
Ah gotcha. I’m sure we will see more and more communities popping up just by the sheer number of connections federated sites offer.
Do you have the teleport medalion that can be dropped on the ground and fast travelled to? I popped one of those right at the very last bit before Ganon. Went away and did other stuff and came back super powered and stocked with stuff
Finally pulled the trigger on the big bad ending boss fight for Tears of the Kingdom after 200+ hours in the game. Was not disappointed. Game of the generation! 10/10
That’s strange I feel like the opposite. I’ve got a good collection of subscribed communities now that feel alive and active.
Yes, there is the huge influx of memes from seemingly 15 years ago, BUT at least we’re active.
How to train your dragon and Scott Pilgrim VS the world. The first was a great date movie with incredible score and the second I just love that film so much and wanted to show everyone I knew who hadn’t watched it.
I mainly listen to things based around or by improv comedy, so if that’s not your jam, keep on scrolling -
My Brother, My Brother, and Me (three brothers give often terrible advice to questions sent by listeners)
Hey Riddle Riddle (a riddle podcast by improv comedians who really really hate riddies and puzzies)
Dungeons and Daddies (the best D&D podcast by players who don’t really know how to play D&D and it’s not even close)
The Worst Idea of All time (originally the concept was two kiwi comedians watch the same film every week for a year and document and review that experience every week. Each season is a new movie and a new year. The films are always awful and they encourage you not to watch them)
Smartless (Will Arnet, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes interviewing other celebrities and famous figures. Only one of them each week know who they will be interviewing before they do so the questions are all improvised on the spot)
Quick Question with Soren Bowie and Daniel O’brien (two ex Cracked writers from the golden age of Internet comedy, who now write for Family Guy and John Oliver respectfully, ask each other questions)
