I can envision a world where the search bar is an AI prompt. What a time to be alive that will be!
I wonder if we can also browse other peoples’ prompts. That would be cool.

If you want to earn enough money to live on, learn a skill and get a better job!

Hey, not like that!
I’m currently working with a client that doesn’t have a health endpoint or any kind of monitoring on their new API . They say monitoring isn’t needed because it will never go down.
Naturally it went down on day two. They still haven’t added any “unnecessary” monitoring, insisting that it will never go down.
There is nothing communist about that. He’s not advocating abolishing private ownership. Businesses and workers both operate in the free market, which allows workers to advocate for their position in the market.
The free market doesn’t exist in a communist economy. Communism uses a planned economy, so the government strongly regulates both businesses and workers. This eliminates workers’ leverage over employers.
If the only way to defend communism is by claiming that no country has ever done communism correctly, then that’s a problem. You can’t point to a single successful communist country because there aren’t any.
China became far more successful since it abandoned communism for its own flavor of capitalism. Private ownership in China has led to a massive improvement in quality of life for most Chinese residents, and more opportunities for success than ever before.
Meanwhile, most complaints about capitalism have almost nothing to do with capitalism and everything to do with laws and regulations or human greed (which is the worst part of any system).
I’m sure google will never pull the same stunt as Amazon. They’re the good guys!
Bell TV in Canada doesn’t support Samsung TVs because Bell is stupid. The only option is to use an external device. It’s a good thing I don’t care about their TV app. I only have access because it comes free with fibre internet.
It’s a hospital. They don’t tow because they charge you on the way out. This guy’s estate is going to be broke!
There are also pedestrian safety laws. I’m not convinced that the Cybertruck is less safe than any other similar-sized pickup truck. If anything, the nose is a bit lower, so it’d let a pedestrian fall on the hood more than if they were hit by another truck.
Either way, the stainless steel isn’t going to be a factor, and the pickup market is flooded with vehicles that are less safe for pedestrians than lower cars.
While it’s perfectly legal to record your own sex tape and sell access, I can’t imagine how stupid you have to be in order to run for office and think it won’t become public and negatively affect your campaign.
She should have come forward with the information when she first decided to run. She would have been able to control the message.
Why are people so convinced that the Cybertruck won’t be safe? Of all the bad things we can say about Tesla, it’s a fact that they’re quite safe vehicles. I see no reason why the company would suddenly build a vehicle that is so unsafe it cannot be sold in Europe. Some comments in this thread say it doesn’t have any crumple zones. How strong do you think 3mm stainless steel is? The strength of every vehicle comes from its frame, not from its body panels. Same thing with the Cybertruck.
To be completely fair, Netflix basically invented the successful tv replacement streaming business model and it’s not their fault that every media ruined it by starting their own. Media companies screwed us, not tech companies.
An early meme in a more modern format is this one.
Japanese style toilet seats
That’s what most people in the USA mean when they say bidet. They’re bidet toilet seats or washlets.
Lots of cars have electronic door releases, and they all have manual handles as well. Tesla’s are not difficult to find or use.

Besides user count, the number of federated instances, posts, and comments will also increase server costs. Its possible that federating from many instances has a larger performance penalty than having a high user count.
I hate ads as much as anyone and have been blocking them for almost as long as ad blockers have existed. I still acknowledge the fact that ads are the primary revenue source for a lot of things on the Internet, and I selectively enable them for content I want to pay for.
How do you think Youtube is supposed to survive without ads or subscriptions? When they puts ads on their site, the unsaid agreement is that you exchange your ad views for their service.
