I was wondering if that might be the case. Hopefully future Lemmy updates will allow for this.

I love that you can see when a report was created! Can reports be sorted by the time they were reported, like oldest to newest (or vice versa)? Or sort by community?
Xilly@lemmy.worldto Lemmy.World Announcements@lemmy.world•The Lemmy.World Terms of Service now in effectEnglish93·1 year agoThis is an understandable concern and was certainly not the intent to make users feel unsafe or less welcome. We are going to look at adding something to cover this.
Xilly@lemmy.worldto Lemmy.World Announcements@lemmy.world•The Lemmy.World Terms of Service now in effectEnglish5·1 year agoCurrently Lemmy UI doesn’t have that capability however Kbin shows who upvoted. You can also see the number of up/down votes a post has through certain apps such as Memmy.
Xilly@lemmy.worldto Lemmy.World Announcements@lemmy.world•The Lemmy.World Terms of Service now in effectEnglish72·1 year agoCorrect! It is still in the works and will be coming out in the future.

Xilly@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•can someone tell me what type of blanket this isEnglish3·2 years agoCould try a reverse image search but sadly you are probably out of luck trying to buy an identical one. I had a set of phenomenal bed sheets that I got as a gift and I was able to identify where they were from the care tag. Sadly they no longer made that particular type and I was just out of luck but maybe you will have better luck.
You are now a part of the mod team!
Alright, I’ve added you as a mod. It’s fairly easy and we can help you out if you have questions or run into any issues. We also have a good Discord/Matrix group to help out if you run in to any issues. The Discord and Matrix are connected so you can use whichever you are more comfortable with.
Alright, you are now a mod. Good luck!!

Boost and Arctic both have mod options now.

Devs have been moving to alternatives like Unreal and I doubt this walk back would make them change their minds.
Xilly@lemmy.worldto Lemmy.World Announcements@lemmy.world•Bridge set up between Matrix and DiscordEnglish8·2 years agoPlus Matrix is something that is still new to people and some users are more comfortable with Discord. Many users are still adjusting to the concept of Lemmy and how federation works. Fortunately this bridge will help the two groups connect to each other and maybe in the future we can move to only using Matrix.

Is this referencing actually children being in charge? Such as a school activity or a family activity? Or are we talking about politics?

Xilly@lemmy.worldMto Fediverse@lemmy.world•Petition for lemmy.world to close registrations.English3·2 years agoI agree with you. I chose Lemmy.World because it was listed as a general instance and the others were very specific and I was still trying to navigate what the Fediverse even was. If Lemmy.World hadn’t been an option I would probably have stuck to Squabbles or Kbin.
