2·1 day agoThat’s what’s getting us into this mess in the first place. The individuals from marginalized protected groups are socially pushed from their towns, eventually migrating to cities where their votes are less impactful.
I’m obviously not blaming the marginalized individuals, but the system designed to keep red land red.
62·1 day agoThe highest bracket was taxed at 70% until Reagan’s first plan in 1981 lowered it to 50%.
It’s currently at 37% under Trump’s 2018 tax plan.

To be fair, leaking government secrets is the most effective defense against momma jokes.
That’s the point. Many Senators are taking their holiday leave early in defeat. Republicans could potentially begin legislating now if they have majority.
I think you underestimate the rippling damage that four years of Trump loyalists running the HHS, FDA, CDC, EPA, DoE, CIA, FBI, etc. can do to the world.
That’s on top of the damage from rapidly repealing regulations by the President.
Even if we replace the whole government with progressives, it’ll take decades to fix, assuming we survive that long.
It’s possible the first time traveler was the kid who attempted to assassinate Trump and shot his ear, it’s just that we’re living in the dimension in which he failed.
