Is there no hiccups? Because if I want to roll it out in our organization and switch to linux, I really need it to be perfect and fool proof (people that dont know what an OS is will be using it of course)

I would love it if you back your claim “windows has lot more security than linux” with facts and evidence.

The web versions aren’t really professional enough for office usage afaik (and we don’t really “buy” microsoft products. And the web version doesn’t work that way afaik)

Literally tried to install windows 11 for our office machines last week.
unfortunately Linux isn’t yet an option because of microsoft office.
It’s really one of the most solid distros

Now that I think about it, most of it.
Neovim, curl, ffmpeg, all gnu utils, sioyek (pdf viewer), i3wm, autorandr, alacritty, tmux and so on.

Lineage, graphene, calyx are pretty good tho. Much better than the android that comes with today’s stock phones.

That’s a sane route. “AI” isn’t inherently bad, if it’s truly free and open source, with free and open source data and models and algorithms.

Truly Japanese rabbits

Not that much tbh. Tried couple of times but couldn’t watch past s2.
I’m more of a movie person.

Pluribus was kinda garbage tbh. wasn’t it? There wasn’t any novel ideas to it and the main character is so annoying and hatable it gives you no reason to watch it.

I don’t wanna be that guy but are these kids becoming really dumb? When I was a kid or teen I still knew about things that were in at least 2 3 decades before me, I even knew how to use them. And files and folders are by no means things of the past! We all still use them regularly. Especially in school/office environments.
I don’t know how to explain it but I feel like the new generation are so disconnected from the real world and live in a bubble, their domain and depth of knowledge is really bad.

I honestly like folders better. It’s one of the few good things from windows.
Files are in folders. That makes so much sense.
Oh yes, because the US and co. Have decided to put sanctions on a bunch of countries, the “3rd world people” are not allowed to buy products or services or make monetary transactions with the “civilized world”? No, fuck governments and fuck their sanctions and rules. People who insist on doing things, especially monetary transactions only the way the governments and states want to are the definition of bootlicker. Free economy requires free money (free as in freedom)
“Fake money for criminals” is such a dumb, bootlicker thing to say.
Maybe most “1st world” people don’t undersrand it yet but crypto (although most of it is scam, but the good ones like Monero) really enables international transactions and freedom of money and brings so much freedom to the people.
Scammers have ruined the image of cryptocurrenvies but there are actually useful currencies out there like XMR,LTC that are being used frequently for actuall services and products. Not just trading.
You missed the part where we don’t buy microsoft products.
