You said they implying Trump wouldn’t be the only one not to lose some votes over it when he’d lie and gaslight all he wants
because they don’t lose any votes from their base for supporting genocide
I’m not disagreeing with the rest of what you said, but I’d not be so sure about this last part
Moments like this makes it look like he’s a pet not the boss
“i eat icecream at the White House duh huh” hes part of a big club of cons, he may not realise while Trump is old and may not face the day where justice is served upon him but Musk is just 53 years old, his day will either come or he’ll seek asylum in a hellhole country with a different autocrat or dictator at the top

No worries, by the way I found out you can filter posts by keyword just not on the default Lemmy interface but in some apps such as: Voyager, Connect, Sync, Summit, Mlem, Boost, Eternity, Thunder, Arctic and on web interfaces Tesseract and Voyager. Lemmy.world has m.lemmy.world where you might be able to use Lemmy with keyword filters

In town halls hosted by Republicans (the very few of them who is hosting or did since Trump has been inaugurated) when people ask about issues being caused by Trump they either say agree or try to grease their words around it to sound less important without denouncing it, its the party of gaslighting and manipulation because thats the thing they are most competent at
