Some surprises in there. Not shocked to see Booker in there, that guy sucks. Slotkin and Fetterman, no surprise at all. Ken Martin letting Slotkin give the state of the union rebuttal was pretty awful. He might just as well have picked fetterman. I hope Ken Martin is proud of himself.

I find that mimicking their gestures to show that I understand their pain helps start the conversation. Cops arent even scared to do their illegal violence on camera anymore. Things have gotten steadily worse when it comes to cops. And even californian lawmakers, often accused of being the most leftist state legislators there are, do nothing – except for some pointless both sidesism. I’m disappointed that Newsom didnt call this out very much. The police activity was wildly unacceptable and often aggressively criminal-- on camera, and still no one in power did anything about it. And he wants to run for president? He’s the wrong guy to meet the challenges of our time if he cant control his own states police force’s wildly illegal fascist far right behavior…

they elected him primary leader and then he shat the bed very publicly. Now the party is very publicly breaking with their support for Schumer and using him as a prop for how they’ve changed. (spoiler alert though, they havent changed).
