He’s not broke. TruthSocial is about to go public via SPAC and make him about $3.3B. Company will trade under ticker DJT.
This is all a nice distraction to rile his base.

Here are the lines from the guy I replied to:
That sounds like censorship to me (and thus, a bad thing)
And…
but I am firmly against any form of censorship.
Allowing any censorship would be a bad thing, according to that poster, so I provided a reason why some censorship may be desired.
Your argument is not on censorship yes or no, but on how far. That’s a different discussion.
Goatse, tubgirl, meatspin, or the BME pain olympics are not exactly hallmarks of quality communication and restricting that type of content is valid for minors. It’s not censorship to try to avoid desensitizing kids too early. Sometimes, people need experience before they can see the horrors.
Good luck not buying soap, toothpaste, or shampoo. Palm oil is used in damn near everything today since it’s the most oil/acre around today.
I’d make the argument that slavery provides a higher quantity of workers, but since it’s against the workers’ wills, it is not as efficient (units of work per unit of time).
Hah. As somebody that had to be driven to the bus stop because it was over a mile away, I call BS.
You can’t violence your way into efficient human labor without repealing the 13th Amendment.
Let’s see if the SCOTUS says that the slavery clause only applies to individual people that congress specifically designates as free, a la the wholly made up rules on the insurrection clause of the 14th amendment.
Can’t get clicks without bait. Next they’ll be adding “You’ll never believe who it is!”
People go to casinos and play slots for a hit of brain chemicals. They’re not there for art. Nor are whales in most mobile games.
I’ll bet some exec thinks an AI-enhanced Skinner box would interesting to see.
Sorry, not in budget for this year. Do it in prod and write up the cap-ex proposal for next year.
Non-existent in the US thanks to whack-ass tariffs unfortunately. We love hindering our adoption of climate change reducing technology for political points.
It’s legal to discriminate if employees are less than 55 years of age. It’s only illegal to discriminate if people are too old. We’re a gerontocracy.
Thanks to federation, the copies of the eggs are. You can’t stop one instance from selling data sourced from federated content until it’s too late.
Provide an example from the other side please.
Oh no, it’s the consequences of my actions by putting all my eggs in one basket and giving a corporation incredible leverage.
Maybe they should derisk their infrastructure then…
You think Microsoft has no assets in Europe? Asset seizure is a sure fire way to get paid when companies refuse to cooperate.
SCOTUS coming in hot to defend them soon. Just watch.
Arch isn’t going anywhere. There will always be builds for power users. If not, forks will happen.
The money left the account 1 second after it hit, that bank likely has nothing to return.
Ahh yes. Just like all those penalties for Matthew Kacsmaryk that will arrive aaaaany day now.
Federal judges serve for life. There’s not a whole lot anybody can do about this.
